Seriously, how does that happen? I mean, the top half of her is relatively normal - obese, but not grotesquely so. Well maybe grotesque but not bizarrely so. Anyway, how does that happen??!

Annoying me is that I know for a fact that someone sent an email that I really need to see to my personal account which goes into my Gmail over forty minutes ago and its still not arrived. Why is Gmail so slow?

As a lady she should visit the Doc's regularly to have the spam box checked. 8O

I do - nothing but spam in there. It finally arrived 55 minutes after it was sent. I get this a lot with Gmail though - even with stuff like the instant emails when you forget login details for a site or something. In my work email, or when I had my personal email in Outlook, it was instant - with Gmail I can wait up to a day for that instant response!

Thank you for your concern. I went last week thanks.

Training people. Even though it is not my official roll, i'm often asked to train people up in using our software correctly as I'm told i'm 'good at explaining things'. Fair enough.

I always, always, always try to impress on people, in the initial days, I would rather you were asking me 100 questions a day instead of assuming you know what your doing and go ploughing off doing it wrong. This usually works.

I have just 'discovered' a load of work someone I trained has done, but done completely wrong as he had't asked how for this paticualr task. Sure, he got it looking right, but had not manipulated things in the correct way which is now causing further issues - issues with work we have already sent out to a client. So I now have to not only spend the next few days correcting this work, I need to get onto the client to point out the error.

For fecks sake.

After applying for a business loan from my bank over a month ago I was told the turnaround would be a few days. My business specialist then decided to go on holidays without notifying me and nobody can approve borrowing in my area without him. After two weeks of waiting, he's finally back but now he's on a course until Monday so I won't hear until then and I need the borrowing decision made by last Wednesday.
So frustrating!

Should have trained him properly in the first place then he wouldn't have had to ask.

Well if you are still waiting for the decision, rather than dismantling all your plans, then perhaps whilst it would have been ideal to get the decision by last Wednesday, you didn't actually NEED it...?

Wow, I am in an argumentative mood today. Something must be annoying me...

Foots, I love you lots, but you need to stop defending these leeches!! :D

I find RB's story not only believable, put pretty much standard practise. And remember, I bank with YOUR bank(ing group)!!

Maybe I wasn't clear enough - I reckon he has been told the wrong thing. As I think you may have been when you had your problems. I'm not defending the banks.

It doesn't make sense in any organisation that only one person can do a job - so when that person is on holiday / off ill, the whole region comes to a grinding stop?

Since when does 'making sense' apply to banking?!!!

My bank recently had the business manager not just go away, but leave the company. I was told I would get a call from the person who takes over the roll, once they have appointed someone. At least RB has the reassurance that his chap still ruddy works there!

RICH - I feel ya pain brosef. All I can say is get used to it!

Was that an apology for the personal attack? Was it? Ok then ;)

What does the business manager actually do anyway?

So this week is the crucial week for me. 2 A level exams tomorrow and one on Tuesday. Absolutely petrified. :S

On the upside I have 3 months off after Tuesday's exam :)
