See, if I was your age I would probably jump at the chance to spend some time working abroad, if there were opportunities available. A friend of mine spent five years in South Korea and two years in Vietnam teaching English - he did it because he lost his job here and was desperate, but he reckons it was the best thing he ever did. Of course the fact that he's come back with a gorgeous Korean wife probably sways his judgement on that a bit, but anyway.

It would get more problematic once you have a family to educate though I reckon, I would have thought its primarily an option for the young and unfettered. Although when Mr Y was made redundant we were considering moves to Cyprus, Dublin, New Zealand, Dubai and even West Yorkshire! Yep, even with a family, we'd have gone anywhere! Glad we didn't have to though.

Can you get the X-Box 360 repaired if the "red ring of death" occurs, what does it do exactly? I don't own a X-Box 360 so I'm not that aware of this problem in all honesty.

The only console I had trouble with was the old NES, where the game resets itself every two seconds, in the way as if you had forgot to press the cartridge down into the locked position, although the game would be locked in the machine would act like it wasn't. The NES was a poorly designed machine anyway.

And its started. I have managed to make the 100 mile journey to work, and the phone has now started ringing with people who 'can't get in because of the snow', from only a handful of miles away.... honestly, its a dedication thing (or that I don't get paid if i'm not 'ere).

It's still broke, will look into sending it back to Microsoft tho.

Annoying me today is that I have swollen glands and a chesty cough that won't go away. Argggh

So i just got home from college into a warm house and changed out of my wet clothes but i have to be at work for 4 and may not even have a lift there yet so will have to walk there as well for 40 minutes with all slush still on the ground. Not looking forward to it at all. Wish i could just stay in the warmth of my house.

I wish we could get some slush. There's no more snow forecast to fall here, but there's a foot of it on the ground and looking at the projected temperatures for the next five days, its not going anywhere.

I * HATE this stupid weather. Leave it in Scotland where it belongs.

Rehearsals for school play cancelled because of 'ice on the roads'.

There is no ice.

Little Shop of Horrors. It's hilarious, but not when rehearsals are called off because of imaginary ice.

No, it's one of the leads though, which I'm very happy with, as all the other leads are 6th-formers...

Annoying me is that yesterday was the first day for 2 weeks, since I got this crappy cold, that I have felt ok - and at about 5pm I started to get a migraine. I'm still waiting for it to ease off 24 hours later.....
