I like the bit about "proof of the delusion". There's no difference between a scale (do re mi) and monotone (do do do) according to science.
Wrong, science says that the noise is produced by vibration. The "note" produced depends on the frequency. You transmit more information with the scale due to the variance in frequency than you do with the monotone sounds.
As for visual information, I could go into a long spiel about Shannon Entropy and the fact that the 1s and 0s it takes to convey the two strings on his web page vary enough for there to be more information in the first string than the second. Indeed, the second is easier to compress than the first due to the repetition. But quite frankly I've bored myself already.
