I ordered my turkey and ham and bacon and sausagemeat yesterday, from the farm up the road. They only killed the pigs last week, and I have requested my gammon from a specific pig. I love shopping locally!
The brine for my ham is cooling on the Patio as we speak.(Scrumpy, Apple Juice, Strawberry Juice, Raspberry Juice, Blackcurrant juice, Juniper, Bay, Cloves, Nutmeg, Peppercorns, Black treacle, and salt and sugar- a gallon of Christmas- Done)
The head is a bubbling on the hob to make brawn.
I have half a pound of Scratchings to take up the Pub tonight
I am making sausages with my Boy tomorrow as part of his school project ( no other chavs will be bringing in sausages they have made from pigs they reared themselves!)
We had Roast Pork last night and Pork Rolls for dinner.
The freezer is full and my piggy partner paid up for all the costs I have forked out for.
I am living the life !
Zoot, I am with you mate, £60,000 at 19 will change your life big time if used properly. My Boss lent me £30k when I was 25 and that most definitely changed my life.
Investing it in ISA's will not change your life though, you would have to use it as a "grub" stake in a business or development opportunity, then work really, really, really hard, thats when you get lucky.
