The team are giving Aled grief for not knowing what a Taco-graph is.
I didn't know either...

Ha, I know because I work for a distribution company.

I know because my step dad used to be a lorry driver.

I love it when Aled doesn't get things like that. You couldn't act it as well as Aled's reactions.

Hehehe Taco Bell break.

See, if wanting to punch him in the face is likely to be the result of watching that clip, then I'm not really going to be inclined to watch it. Why make myself angry for no reason?

That'll be the huge masses of folk that complain to Ofcom everytime a scandal erupts, they get some sort of rush out of being outraged, I'm sure of it, go ahead, have a clicky...feel the fury!

Zoot what are you talking about? £60k is a lovely lot of money to get from nowhere, no two ways about it - but its only about 2 years salary for most people, how is that going to set anyone up for life??!!

Yuddy I'm not saying he wouldn't have to work, but with 60 grand in the bank mortgages would be easier to get, meaning he could move in to a better place, living quality would be better, or if he played his cards and invested wisely...
Yea 2 years salary for some (not most, come on!) people, but this is 60 grand ON TOP on what he may earn, so free extra money he won't need to spend on bills, general living etc. If I had 60 grand of extra cash in my bank then there's every chance my future would look brighter...
Maybe the phrase 'setting up for life' is a bit strong'. Maybe I meant 'life altering'.

Good point. Some people would find it nice to see though. It just seems like my day is turning out to be the complete opposite of his.

Not according to the figures that came out for the last financial year regarding the average salary in the UK. Average earnings for men last financial year (if I remember right) were over £27k, and the average household income was something just above £30k - which I remember being surprised at, I'd have expected a higher figure given the national average for men.

Is the national average taken as a mean average? Surely, then, the national average also takes into account company directors and executives, the people who pay themselves £2,000,000 a year, which would boost it significantly?

Its everybody. And don't forget, there are significantly fewer people in the top earning brackets than in the lower ones. At the end of the day though its just statistics, which, when all's said and done, can be manipulated to say pretty much anything you want them to say.

Ha - thanks, but its not that bad a burn, I was just pissed off with myself. And I love doing the Christmas cooking! I ordered my turkey and ham and bacon and sausagemeat yesterday, from the farm up the road. They only killed the pigs last week, and I have requested my gammon from a specific pig. I love shopping locally!

The brine for my ham is cooling on the Patio as we speak.(Scrumpy, Apple Juice, Strawberry Juice, Raspberry Juice, Blackcurrant juice, Juniper, Bay, Cloves, Nutmeg, Peppercorns, Black treacle, and salt and sugar- a gallon of Christmas- Done)
The head is a bubbling on the hob to make brawn.
I have half a pound of Scratchings to take up the Pub tonight
I am making sausages with my Boy tomorrow as part of his school project ( no other chavs will be bringing in sausages they have made from pigs they reared themselves!)
We had Roast Pork last night and Pork Rolls for dinner.
The freezer is full and my piggy partner paid up for all the costs I have forked out for.

I am living the life !

Zoot, I am with you mate, £60,000 at 19 will change your life big time if used properly. My Boss lent me £30k when I was 25 and that most definitely changed my life.

Investing it in ISA's will not change your life though, you would have to use it as a "grub" stake in a business or development opportunity, then work really, really, really hard, thats when you get lucky.
