You wouldn't find a sandwhich for less than £1.05 anywhere round here. About £1.75 is the average I'd say.

not good in terms of price, no. But, that's the way business works, if one shop sells at one (high) price and gets away with it, others will follow.

Seriously though, £1.75 isn't bad, I don't resent paying that at all. As Quincy inadvertently pointed out, Tesco prices are at least £1.75 and Tesco is pretty much the same price anywhere in the UK.
