1.05p is indeed extremely cheap for anything. How did he get his change back, is there a new 0.05p coin now?

Really doesnt help in the morning when Chris starts talking to Longman and his sandwiches. Makes me more hungry.

Still Longman is great, he sounds really good and is a welcomed additional feature to the show.

To be honest, Moyles must be doing Longman a massive favour. I dont think he even needs to put an advert out in the local paper. He gets it for free on International Radio 1.

yeah

theyve been in circulation for years. think about it

1.99p
and
1.05p

got it yet?

Do me a favour, I was arsing about... There is no such thing as 1.05p, or 1.99p for that matter... I was being pedantic, the correct way to put it is £1.05 or 105p. 1.05p is one point zero five pence, get it?

£1.05 is actually quite expensive for a sarnie IMO.

To be honest, the price of a sandwich is the least of my worries. Everything is 'king pricey here :P

You wouldn't find a sandwhich for less than £1.05 anywhere round here. About £1.75 is the average I'd say.

You obviously don't have very good sandwiches shops down there then.

not good in terms of price, no. But, that's the way business works, if one shop sells at one (high) price and gets away with it, others will follow.

Seriously though, £1.75 isn't bad, I don't resent paying that at all. As Quincy inadvertently pointed out, Tesco prices are at least £1.75 and Tesco is pretty much the same price anywhere in the UK.
