Newsround is less patronising than newsbeat

The news is fine, as it's rather short, but if you're listening for hours at a time, it's very repetitive.

I've barely got out of bed before midday since my Easter holidays started. Bizarre cos at uni I tend to get up quite early. I'm sure that should be the other way round..

Sidders is a cleaner, so he doesn't have to be there until half 3

I remember a teacher who didn't do 9am either, he managed to keep on like that for half a school year.

I start at 9 or 10 if I'm in court and I find it murder in the holls. I usually wake up between 7 and 8 for no reason. Suppose it means I can make the most of the morning.

I get up at 7 for college, but still wake up at that time during holidays to listen to Moyles and, like Betti, to make the most of the mornings. I don't wake up till about half 9-ish at weekends though, unless I've got an early shift.

I like the news regular - you can find out the time more easily;

7:30 Newsbeat - get out of bed
7:45 Celeb Tarzan - Go downstairs
8:00 Newsbeat - Get in car
8:30 Newsbeat - I'm late

I wake up to the news at 7.30 in the shower and I know when the end of the news is over at half 8 that I should be gathering up my notes and heading to lectures.

I wonder how many peoples morning routine is all to pot/miss the bus if Moyles goes late into the news, by even a couple of minutes.
