I was hoping he'd return with some fresh ideas, and trying to put Mills back in second place. But to be honest I felt it was a letdown.
I was sitting through the show thinking about the 'You've Been Busted', Laura's Diary etc and comparing it to the very poor banter during today's show. One of the first thing's he told us was that he was 'ill' which seems to be a daily thing.
He managed to slag off Laura's Diary, the newsreaders, Carpark Price is Right and Mr Mills, and yet had nothing special to better it with.
I mean don't get me wrong, Moyles is great, but I'm starting to feel Mills has now become the front man for Radio 1.
The guess who's were all football related, the O'Leary stuff was dull, and Long Man was far from on form.
And the 'Sting' wake-up call showed Moyles appears to be resorting to Mills-style tactics for features.
