I feel kinda let down this morning! I was really looking forward to the return of the Chris Moyles show. I was looking forward to it being fresh and full of new features and ideas after the two week break.

It isn't!!

Let down? Yes.

Carpark Catchphrase saved the day today. Bar that it really wasn't very good.

I was hoping he'd return with some fresh ideas, and trying to put Mills back in second place. But to be honest I felt it was a letdown.

I was sitting through the show thinking about the 'You've Been Busted', Laura's Diary etc and comparing it to the very poor banter during today's show. One of the first thing's he told us was that he was 'ill' which seems to be a daily thing.

He managed to slag off Laura's Diary, the newsreaders, Carpark Price is Right and Mr Mills, and yet had nothing special to better it with.

I mean don't get me wrong, Moyles is great, but I'm starting to feel Mills has now become the front man for Radio 1.

The guess who's were all football related, the O'Leary stuff was dull, and Long Man was far from on form.

And the 'Sting' wake-up call showed Moyles appears to be resorting to Mills-style tactics for features.

Jono, couldn't have put it better myself
the funniest thing on todays poor show was Longmans wifes
pet name for him....Babbalooloo...what?

Jono is absolutely right, the only thing that made me laugh today was the new Roy Walker sound clips...not the kind of show I was expecting them to return with.

I thought completely the opposite, I'm glad the big mans back. He's thousands times more entertaining than Mills.
It might not have been one of his best shows ever but he'll be getting a good review from me later!

Judging Scott's shows this past two weeks, Moyles has a hell of a lot to do!

I fell asleep and missed the first half of the show. What I did hear of it was alright, not the best though.

But remember before he went on Holiday, he was at his best that he has been for a while, to be honest he's been off for 2 weeks getting up late and then all of a sudden you back getting up at 5am and having to do work.
Im the same when I come back from a holiday, just can't be arsed, it will improve.

Again, I would disagree, look how many listeners Moyles get compared to Mills. I really didn't like Mills's shows over the last 2 weeks, I mean maybe its just because I don't really like him but hey it's just my opinion. Thought it was good the way Moyles was slagging the diary thing. LOL cause you can't deny that that feature from Mills was absolutely pointless and a waste of air time. "Aleds Diary - Day 1........I'm Gay"!!!!
Brilliant from Moyles![/code]

And that was the highlight of the show, eh?
Why bother hyping up the 'breakfast show revolution' and returning with nothing more than to say that he met a few footballers after two weeks away

Who's on drivetime tonight, because Scotts's got a week off hasn't he?
Please not spoony still!!

It is Spoony I'm afraid. The funniest part of this mornings show was Roy Walkers singing.

Moyles was only slagging off the diary because he was jealous. The diary was a fantastic feature which got everyone hooked.

To be honest, as a long time Moyles fan, even myself was very bored of this mornings show (but the show didnt have my full attention as I was at work at the time).

The only bit that made me laugh was Sting Rings, but that joke will tire within a few days.

I just thought the whole Russell Grant bit wasn't in the slightest bit amusing. Maybe it was just me?

Nah, I didn't really think it was that funny either. He was good on the show the first time round but sadly not this time. All in all today's show was a little disappointing but hopefully it'll improve as the week goes on.

I have to agree, I think todays show wasn't that great at all and I have to say I enjoyed Scott more.

However you cant have brekkie without Moyles so come on man, freshen up the show!

It was a let down. Having said that, I prefer listening to Moyles on an off day rather than Mills on a good day(of which he had several in the past fortnight)
I like Mills a lot, but you cant beat the big man!

I agree, sometimes moyles gets annoying and you cant listen to him esp when there is far too much sport!!

But generally it is the big man that kicks ass!
