Bugger was just gonna do that...Oh well

"His morning show attracted an average of 6.79 million listeners a week between April and June, according to Radio Joint Audience Research (Rajar).

That was up 470,000 on the previous quarter"

So surely that says it all to the people who think he isn't funny or hasn't been as funny lately.

Hang on Scott's got a higher ABC1 percentage?

Not really. All it proves more people are listening. It's not measured on a funniness scale, it's purely listenership. I do see your point, however I was one of those who thought Moyles slacked off in the last quater, but I didn't stop listening so therefore the listener figures prove nothing in that sense. Also if you look at what shows occurred in the past quater- he was on X-factor and the World Cup was on, both "event radio", for want of a better phrase, so he was bound to go up with such exposure.

However Chris has improved on return, and you can't argue that the figures are anything less than good for the show.

I can't believe it, but well done to the whole team.

Going on X-Factor clearly worked.

Media Guardian wrote:The popularity among listeners of Radio 2's Terry Wogan shows no sign of waning, with the nation's biggest breakfast show playing to an audience of 8.08 million, almost beating his own record of 8.09 million, recorded in the first quarter of 2005.
