... usually listen to the radio?

It always used to be in the car, and ONLY in the car for me, but without my long commute, I think I'll be listening to the radio a lot more at home now. I have 2 weeks off before starting my new job, and have been listening to the radio all day when at home this week.

The Radio 1 Music team. Current head of music is Sarita Jagpal - they have a playlist meeting each Thursday where all senior daytime producers, execs, and representatives from specialist shows meet to discuss what tracks should be where - A, B, C or 1 Upfront.

A list tracks - +20 plays a week
B list tracks - 10 to 15 plays
C list tracks - 5 or 6 plays
1Upfront tracks - Varying number of plays

I think they need a new team - they overplay loads of tracks and miss out some really good releases - they need to watch b4 channel on Sky cos they get a good mix of the up and coming music.

Radio one go for the same artists when ever they get a new release they automatically get played - instead of playing the tracks depending on how good they are.

and if i hear the White Stripes - doorbell - once more on radio one i will spit
