Football is a ridiculous sport. The fact that the situation in Poland was able to happen is crazy and just underlines what a bunch of idiots the people running international football are. Don't get me wrong, I like football, but the professional game is a joke, especially at international level.

Having said that, I have posted this in the right place because it did make me laugh.

Some of the coverage was hilarious. Roy Keane was getting gradually more annoyed with Adrian Chiles as time went on. I thought he was going to punch him at one point. My personal highlight was the referee who spent about 2 minutes chucking a ball up in the air in what was possibly the most pointless and stupid things I've ever seen.

There's a really long history of dramatic England/Poland WC qualifiers. This wasn't so much dramatic as farcical.

I did a FIFA launch at an England/Poland WC qual at Wembley many moons ago.
Before the match, we had our Polish distributor play one of the English disties at FIFA.

I've been watching since the third week, and it's without a doubt the best competitive TV show that I've seen (even beating Channel 5's 'The Mole').

Baking has always been the one aspect of cooking that I've never been able to do well at, it's such a precise art and requires not only a decent understanding of science (at that level they're operating at) but a massive amount of creativity. Sadly for Nic, given the specifics and complexity involved, it's unlikely that you'd be able to make most of the stuff on there with a vegan alternative.

I can't wait for next year (or the 3 specials that are on next week).

It's vegan cake. I've got books full of recipes that don't use animal products. Omni recipes can be adapted, I'm just not very good at doing that myself.
