Add to that the fact that he STILL had the final show to plan, he ended up not getting out of work (according to my memory of his tweet) until gone 7pm that evening and had been up since stupid o'clock that morning too - he was INCREDIBLY accommodating to even come to the pub to meet us in the first place.

If complete years turn up from Aled I'm happy to have the same arrangement as I have with Jamie. Whoever has the year, sends me the (Duplicate) cd's of that year and I'll edit em.

I have my fingers crossed that we get some afternoon stuff from 2002/3, however whatever Aled can get us I'll be very greatful for it, I would offer to edit them too but as you all know I'm shite at that these days

I've got that album too. Song I was most surprised I liked was Natasha Bedingfield doing Ray of Light - mainly because I don't like Madonna, Ray of Light or Natasha Bedingfield - I have no idea why I liked the song but I did.

Sorry if I'm been a bit dim, I have gone back a few pages & don't seem to be able to find those great little logos someone on here created for each Moyles Radio 1 show, would anyone happen to have those please? :)

Yes. A generous chap posted me DVD recordings. They are actually the ones going up next, but give it a bit of time as they are ma-hoos-sive and will tie up my interweb connection for days.

OK, all my other interwebs business is done and I'm now working on the Theatre Tour DVDs. They require some light munging, as the aspect ratio flag appears not to be set, so I'm going to unpack the ISOs, fix the flag to 16:9 and repack to ISO. All lossless.
The audio is slightly out of sync, but not by much. To fix it, I'd have to recode the audio, which I'd rather not do. If you're watching in a media player, I think the audio sync would be around +0.15s.

Once the first show (Monday 1st November 2010) is uploaded, I'm going to ask people to check the ISO to make sure it's playable, as it has been munged with. It has a weird 1/2 resolution format that I think is down to the DVD recorder it was recorded on, so it goes a bit bonkers in some media players, but "real" DVD players seem to think it's OK.

Some sneaky peekys from Monday:

There was no tedious link in either of those last two, so I think it's pretty safe to assume that there were no tedious links at all in this week :)

There's one link from the afternoon show I've been wanting to hear again for years. Actually, it's not even a link, just Chris, Dave and Will in hysterics as a record ends.

A new poster called travismitchell sent me some really nice clean versions of the birthday corner and morning movie beds/jingles and the 2009 opening song - I've just uploaded them to the vault. Very geeky but very cool :)

Yeah if we can only have a handful of shows I'd like (as mentioned up thread) Lizzie's last show and Aled's first show after she departed. Also I was listening back to the 16/3/2001 show and Dave had returned from his Comic Relief Football Shirt Appeal thingy, in it they mentioned that Dermot O'Leary stood in for Dave as "Comedy Dermot", I'd like to hear a show from there too, just to hear how he work as Dave's temporary replacement.
