I agree. I went straight from my parents' house to my boyfriend at the time's house and it wasn't a good idea.

I don't count going to uni as moving out - its not a whole-year arrangement is it, you have to come back for holidays and when its over, you will end up back home again almost inevitably. Moving for uni is not so much moving out as finding a place to stay in term time.

Don't worry, I'll be living with a best friend who's female and we've known each other for over 8 years! I know I won't be able to rely on her for things to be done, don't you worry! I've been given some things already to do that she refuses to do.

Cooking, cleaning, ironing, washing, shopping... bahhhhhhh! I'll be fine.

Was just having the same thoughts. Just as a kind of tribute/comedy thing to do and write "RIP #TeamMoyles" somewhere odd and take a photo to post rather than make it up with socks or stupid things like the teens are doing for grimmy.

Kinda made me chuckle seeing R1 needing to do this sort of campaign to ramp up Grimmy's show :? :D

Would be funny, but I don't think it would happen just with members from here - a place the size of this wouldn't have the clout to get anything trending unless it managed to take off in a bigger way... you'd need Aled to get involved and there's no way he would!

It's not out of the realms of possibility - given that we've got 30-40 members of the forum on twitter (each with an average of 100 followers?), and a lot of non-forum twitter users will be looking to vent their annoyance at Grimmy (a #teammoyles tweet I sent randomly earlier got a bit of attention from people who don't even follow me).

Would have to be a whole hearted effort, (with catchy pictures to be retweeted.)

But could just fall on it's arse and look awful.

Doesn't need to be anything serious. If anyone on the CM team retweets it or someone famous catches an eye on the campaign, who knows. There's a possible 8 million people to retweet if it caught on.

Whoop! Just got my details through for my trip to Portugal (which is now only 3 weeks on Friday!). Loads still to sort out before I go!

I reckon there is a fair chance it will happen anyway. Im more than happy to help it along the way.

A facebook fan page to along with it? Could go a long way to help grieving CM fans/listeners.

There'd be little to no content that would actually justify a fb page or twitter account. If everyone tweeted the same hashtag at the same time there's an outside chance that it could trend. Perhaps tweeting all the show friends may have an impact, but it'll probably fall on it's arse - having said that, 8.30am on Monday I'll be tweeting it.

Awwww thats a little unfair on Grimmy! He's probably going to be bricking it- I cant imagine how he's going to feel when he sees all the tweets / texts on the console saying he's rubbish. Which is inevitable. I'm sure Chris did in Jan 04 but he has quite a thick skin.

I wonder if in the first couple of days Grimmy wont see the live console and it will just be Matt. I remember Aled saying they didnt let Kelly Osborne see the texts live as it confused / upset her.

Well, as long as people don't post horrible messages about Grimmy (I personally I don't mind listening to him), it'll be harmless fun. However, they'll be some brainless idiots that will attack him for Chris' departure. Hopefully the way Chris left will have supressed that in the public domain.

#TeamMoyles is already going around everytime the Radio 1 twitter account retweets #TeamGrimmy.

chrysostom wrote:To be fair, Grimmy is the face of the 'new style of breakfast show' and an end to Zoo Format - so in a way, he represents a change in the wind that will have led to Chris' departure.

But I'll be interested to hear what that "new style" is whatever R1 think it is. The zoo format is king if a presenter can crack it. Maybe they know no-one in their ranks can do it and have accepted defeat to brand the show rather than the presenter themselves. Still, I'm going #TeamMoyles for the day on every tweet I do. Nothing directed at Grimmy

I'm sure this has all been said before anyway. Back on-topic; a left-over Krispy Kreme donut has made me happy at lunch-time. Luckily we have a server-room as a fridge! :D
