So basically we'll be able to provide all the breakfast shows with Chris apart from that one show - Friday 16th November 2007, which I reckon was never put on the iPlayer or Listen Again or whatever it was known as at that time. This thread from that day http://chrismoyles.net/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 28&t=18008 backs that theory up, although it does suggest that the Listen Again stream was working a few days later - did anyone download it and can share?

I'm also missing 16 of the shows hosted by Vernon and/or Sara with the team.

Do you want me to see if Aled has Friday 16th November 2007? And also the 16 Vernon/Sara shows (if you know the dates)?

I recorded it Ian and I'll edit a copy and upload to archive.org as soon as I can.

Great, thanks for that.

July is finished:

Monday 16th July 2007
Tuesday 17th July 2007
Wednesday 18th July 2007
Thursday 19th July 2007
Friday 20th July 2007

[bmstinton93]

* hell. How do you do so many?

[ianpwilliams]

Lots of practice. And I need a job

[jamiec21]

I've combined all my breakfast shows into one folder anyway, and it comes out like this:

2004 – 222
2005 – 219
2006 – 144 (Ben editing)
2007 – 124 (Ian editing) + 98 unedited = 222
2008 – 162 (Slaphead editing)
2009 – 154 (mostly incomplete shows) (Jamie to distribute for someone to edit)
2010 – 222
2011 – 239
2012 – 145 (in progress)

So compared to yours Jamie, it's pretty similar numbers:

2004 - 221 [+2 CM Specials]
2005 - 216 [+2 CM Specials]
2006 - 216 [+1 shows w/o CM, +2 CM Specials]
2007 - 215 [+4 CM Specials]
2008 - 215 [+1 CM Specials]
2009 - 202 [+18 shows w/o CM]
2010 - 210 [+9 shows w/o CM, +2 CM Specials]
2011 - 213 [+7 shows w/o CM, +19 CM specials]
2012 - 141 [+6 CM Specials, +14 shows to go]

Yeah, some people might have different numbers due to how they count their shows. For example, I count the Moyles fill in for Jo Whiley at Glastonbury as 2 separate shows - his and hers. All the marathon shows I've separated as well, so there are 3 usual Chris Moyles Breakfast Shows, and then an extra 18 or so shows with other DJs or by themselves. But having the chance to cross reference my list with someone else who was doing exactly the same thing has given me extra confidence that my figures are correct. Certainly for breakfast shows I'm convinced I have 100% of all the dates, maybe Moyles did the odd 1 or 2 other Radio 1 shows which I'm not aware of.

OK, been able to edit and upload
Friday 16th Nov 2007

(Just gotta say, much respect to everyone who's been editing and uploading the shows.... Friday's with the golden hour are a right pain!)

[HA94]

You're going to be loved now. You do know that don't you? Thanks for this

Wow, wow, wow! The road to 100% coverage is GO! Can we get there by 14th September?

[bmstinton93]

No. I have no chance of editing all those shows by then...

Have got most of the Vernon/Sara shows from the Vault, but am missing the 5 Vernon shows from 10-14th August 2009.

[slaphead1982]

I just listened to 1st August 2006 show and they mention the previous weeks pub quiz. So that comfirms that they were at least back on the tuesday. And it's a bit of a rare one because Dom ended up being in the lead.

I've got the 10-14th August 2009. I'll add them to the others you requested as well and upload.

Yeah, I can't see that happening. As fast as I've been going lately, I've still got 6 months of 2007 left. But as long as we all take our time listening to 2004 and 2005, then I don't see why we can't get 2006-2009 done quickly enough so that we don't have to stop

Went and left a song in yesterday's show (28th Aug), so I've removed the song, uploaded the new edit, and edited the link on the previous page of this thread.

Does anyone know what the situation is with Thursday 9th August 2007? There is an edited show in the archive already (3hrs16), so I don't know if I need to do it or not. From Jamie's unedited Moyles shows I have Thursday 9th August 2007 (3hrs07), and a "Moyles Extra" thing, which appears to be Jo Whiley's show afterward (2hrs47). So I could a full edit from those two shows, but it doesn't sound worth it if the original edit is 3hrs16 already. Does anyone know who did it?

[bmstinton93]

That must be unedited if it's over 3 hours long.

[ianpwilliams]

No I'm pretty sure it's edited. I think for some reason they must have gone into Jo Whiley's show as well, and that's why the edited version is so long.

[Nicola_Red]

It was when Jo was live from Glastonbury and the power went out, I think.

Glastonbury in August? I think it was something to do with her train bring late or canceled.

[ianpwilliams]

Apparently it was Aled's birthday show, and he did his own show during the last half hour, and Chris says that they were then going to review it. And he said that Jo was on holiday. But I don't know for sure what the situation was without listening to more of it.

Oh yeah, course. Durr.

As I recall, Sara Cox was due to deputise for Jo, but couldn't make it or just didn't turn up, so they had to fill in until lunchtime.

[ianpwilliams]

Well I edited it anyway. Mine's 3hrs long, shorter than the other one, but then I'm guessing all the news bulletins were probably left in the other one.
