I come on here more for the people I 'know' (and some I now know without inverted commas as well) than for show things now and have done for some time.

I quite like coming on here and talking to you all (except Badger) and I feel like I've been able come across some rather lovely people I would never have known existed otherwise.

Hey!!!!!!!!
I'm a thoroughly nice bloke and a pleasure to converse with.
Ask Zoot, he loves me.

Don't really ask Zoot as I'm pretty sure I fabricated that fact

I agree with all the rest of the above.

I'd like to think this forum will continue for as long as Moyles has a career in broadcasting. Like someone else said, it's not like he's dead. He's just moving on. A bit like when he moved to breakfast.

Hell, if it came to it and no one wanted to pay for hosting any more I'd gladly donate the ridiculous amounts of spare bandwidth and space I have!

Glad you said that.

Like James H I am sad that I neglected the community side of this site for so long. Until about six months ago I barely noticed who posted what and didnt even look at Ramble. There were only three or four posters on here that I would even associate with any posts. I used to read stuff and not even look at usernames.

Sorry to bring this to a non 'the show is ending' direction, but my workplace is annoying me.

The last few months, my role has changed - my workload is sporadically high and low and my motivation levels have dropped to almost zero. I've been through 2 interviews for another role, and am hoping to hear some good news tonight (but am pessimistic as I know I have a lot less experience when compared to the other candidates - however I performed really well at the interview).

With my living situation changing in a month's time (moving away from messy flatmate, noisy neighbours, quite a lot of drinking & sporadic eating habits that have led to me putting on a lot of weight and no peace/quiet - to living with my girlfriend in a quiet neighbourhood with a strict diet regime to hopefully make me feel much healthier) - I'm desperate for a change of workplace to go with all this. Not only because the role is more based in social media, but also the working conditions aren't as strict, it's not a 'recruiter' atmosphere and they have a gym!

I always look at the posts through the 'new posts' link at the top rather than going through all the different sections of the forum 'by hand'. Works out a bit better for me.

No idea what this means. I'm assuming something to do with the show?

Yes, Chris had Grimey* in this morning.

*NOT a typo.

Haha, that's one that covers both the annoy / smile topics.

I'm sorry for those suffering through the O2 crisis. As Joni Mitchell once sang "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot"

Also Chrys, look at the inbox!
That's immense.

I got very upset about the show ending last night and had to basically tell myself off sternly for being ridiculous. I think it was partly hormonal but even so, I was being far too melodramatic. I have mild Asperger's syndrome and the repetitive, abnormally focussed interests that typify it are something I've always had - and the Chris Moyles Show is a perfect example of it. Lost was another and that's something I found difficult to deal with the end of as well - but at least I had plenty of notice for that one!

I've realised I've spent more time than is helpful for my job on CM.net and in general listening to Moyles clips over the past 30 or so hours. Must do some actual work!

People moaning about the John Terry verdict. There was reasonably doubt as to his guilt, in a case that shouldn't have been in the court in the first place.

Going only by what I have read of the trial, a guilty verdict wouldn't have been possible.

Correct. In a court of law there wasn't any way that he could have been found guilty. Outside of a court of law and using common sense and probability the verdict would have been very different. The magistrate gave the only verdict he could really.

John Terry is a complete dick and quite possibly a revolting human being, but neither of those things is against the law unfortunately.
