Cheers guys. No, I get no payout. as i've said before, I have been here as a contract worker so not entitled to that jazz. Shame. They are getting rid of 30% of staff, so i was kinda expecting the cut to hit me too.

ho-hum, onwards and upwards, no point stressing about it, it is what it is, better to focus my energies in more productive areas. Got my CV done now....

I had a stone in my boot all the way to work this morning and no opportunity to get it out until I got here - and I now have a nasty hole in my foot where it stuck in which hurts and is bleeding in my boot. Also my left knee is really sore, I have a bruise on my left hand and no idea how either of these things might have occurred.

Also Miss Yudster's ex boyfriend who had to have a leg amputated a couple of years ago because of bone cancer, and then had what seemed to be a minor skirmish with liver cancer afterwards has just been told that he has tumours in both lungs. This lad is 21 and I can't think of many things which suck worse.
