Chewing the badger, that's a new one for the notebook! Good choice bonanzoid, done something similar when talking about 'stoneybridge' with an english chum who'd never heard of it before. So went and bought the Absolutely box set. £12 well spent.

Yudster wrote:The fact that people are going to think that the dissolution of The News of the World is a significant gesture on the part of News International/NewsCorp. Because it isn't, its a smokescreen. Really annoying is my suspicion that people are probably going to be quite happy to accept it at face value as a good move and somehow a redeeming factor for Murdoch and his henchmen, and the wave of public pressure on him and his Evil Empire will ease. Which is exactly what he is counting on.

This.

The playlist that Radio 1 has since it is completely dire. Stupid annoyance but just persuaded me to make a thread on the topic.

Oh and for those talking about Father Ted, you get a big thumbs up from me. One of my all-time favourite programmes and 16 years after it first debuted, I still find it entertaining despite the fact I didn't watch it until the 2nd series was first shown on Channel 4 back in 96 when I was just 11 ("And the winning number is....number 11!").

That reminds me when I was caught with my penis stuck in the machine in the wall in the Gents the other day.

It said that I had to put in £2 and insert knob...........

I think you need some of those special tablets. I take some and they are great.

I use a nasal spray and it almost completely gets rid of my allergies, which were ferociously bad. It's a miracle.

I've been lot busier at work these last few weeks (as you've probably noticed...) so not been posting much, but the 14/15 (inc travel) hour days are starting to get to me now... So tired.
