Yeah, E4 are ending Friends in the autumn, but Comedy Central have bought it so if you've got satellite or cable you can still catch the endless reruns! Joy. Actually a hot guy started replying and then following me on twitter after I tweeted something random about Rachel's outfits in the early seasons while I was watching E4 the other week. Pity he lives in Kent.

Don't get me wrong, I used to like Friends a lot but they've just been shown too many times now, would have been nice to have repeated Series 1-10, then have a break for 3-6 months & then bring them back again, but unfortunately they're just constantly on. Still if people are still watching the programme then fair enough.

Just think it's a shit move be E4, especially seeing as last night's episode was the tenth in the series & School Daze is 10 episodes long, perhaps SD was due to be shown when HIMYM started but was delayed for some reason?

No, it won't have. To be honest I think this series has gone well off the boil, it hasn't been anywhere near as good as seasons 2-4.

Oh yeah definitely. Big bang theory has been a lot funnier (is that even a word?) this series and the story doesn't seem to have advanced much either in HIMYN and we don't seem any closer to knowing who the mother was and where they met since the start of the season when we found out that they met at a wedding

True, and yet at the same time they've narrowed it down so much by making it Rachel Bilson's roommate that whenever he meets a new girl you can tell straightaway whether she could potentially be the mother or not, thus removing any element of surprise.

I agree it's not as good as it used to be but it still makes me laugh, I believe we're going to meet the Mother during the seasons conclusion, Series 2-4 is definately the best series though I agree. Thanks also for the offer Nicola, I'll let you know :)

Yeah they have slightly, liked last night's episode with Hurley in it as it was one of those random, wacky episodes, however I'm watching back Series 2 now & it's amazing how the series has changed, for example in the episode where Lily temporarily moves in with Barney (where her & Marshall are still broken up) she looks at Barney's porn collection unimpressively, yet know she's a right dirty strumpet  Ted is the only one who looks no different from series 1 actually, to me.

Still Friends went on for 3-4 series too long anyway, I don't think I've ever watch the entire Series 9 & 10 yet, I just went off of it during Series 8

I think how i met your mother will have 10 seasons as well just to copy friends but also in 2030 the kids are about 15 so i reckon the programme might finish at the time that they are born

From what I remember the producers have stated that they want to wrap the story up by the 7th or 8th series, which I think will be the best time for it to bow out, which I personally think Friends should have done myself.

She was in the first episode of Series 6 & another episode from Series 5 (can't recall which one at present)

It happens.....

More importantly I've never heard of the yellow light of death. Is it common? My PS3 is one which plays PS2 games (which means it old) and its started freezing recently, should I be worried?

Yeah, I own the old backwards compatible type too. Yes, apparently it is the most common fault with PS3's. it occus when the PS3 overheats and the CPU/GPU comes away from the main board. The fix is, essentially, take it apart and melt the solder to reconnect the chip, although I am over simpyifying it there.

Standing your PS3 on its end is a good way to help prevent this, but if its gonna go, its gonna go. You can either buy what you need to do it yourself for £20, or you can find someone who has done it before to do it for you, like I did! Do not pay £150 to send it to Sony, as this is all they will do with it anyway.

Or ask any local PC/Electronics repair firm to do it - they shouldn't charge you more than £25.
