It happens. I'm not always a right cow, but I certainly can be. I try to keep it appropriate, but I get it wrong sometimes. My main concern here is that you seem keen to assure me that you don't want to offend me. Have you had a brain injury?

Its nice you are concerned - no brain injury but I do have a deformed testicle?

Mondeo's are cracking cars..... Good for you Mr Bezz-meister Andy.

Changing subject, as some of you may remember (most won't care) I'm a motorcycle 'track rider'. I have just booked me and a friend on a European track day for the end of the year, a full 3 days on track at Cartagena (southern spain) without running the risk of stooopid UK weather.

Honestly, i'm so excited i'm sat here nursing a Tim Henman.

Fecking Ace! :D :D :D :D :D

I'm with you. I love Christmas, and I don't mind getting excited about it now - especially as things like Christmas cakes, puddings, mincemeat etc HAVE to be done early so there's a good reason for talking about it now! Although I think we may go a different way with our Christmas cake this year - we'll have to see.

I watched that last night, couldn't belive those two kids had been left at home alone.

Didn't get me into the Christmas spirit though.......

Its September, Christmas doesnt start until I do my Christmas shopping on the 24th

Perhaps the reason women tend to start thinking about it early is because men don't think about it until the day before. And that could be said of so many other things too.....

You're probably right. But if you're making a traditional Christmas cake it needs to be done at the end of October really.

Delia's spiced picked pears need to be done early, while you can still get the nice small, really hard conference pears.
