Not really annoying so much as worrying, I did half an AS level this year, even though I'm 2/3 years younger than most doing them (long story) but I'm away so I don't have my results and all the stuff on the news is making me think about it more :?

My aunt, who I'm very close to, has had a heart attack and is in a critical condition in hospital. I'm pretty upset.

Sorry to hear that, I hope she will be OK.

Anyway, what's annoying me today?

I was FORCED to go and watch 'Diary of a Wimpey Kid', had to get up at 9am, it wasn't funny, wasn't sad, had no real story to it, waste of time. I could've been having a lie-in:(

I was within one mouse click of reserving fourth row centre main arena tickets for me and Mr Yudster to go see Stephen Fry live at the Albert Hall as his wedding anniversary present, but I chickened out because a) it was "expensive" and b) we would have had to do some juggling to get to the Albert hall for 8pm on a Tuesday. Now of course, with all the tickets gone, those seem like pathetic reasons.

Thanks all. There is no better news yet. I have been to see my aunt, but only two people are allowed in the unit at a time and we're such a big family, so I didn't stay long. In a way I didn't want to stay, so many machines and whatnot, it didn't even look like her. Not fun at all.

I knew someone would say that. I also thought it would probably be you.

Yo yo yo!! Hello all, back after a week in sunny Torrevieja. Annoying me today; being back at my ruddy desk less than 24hours after being in sun kissed Spain.

I've had to come back to Manc and go back to work tomorrow. Nothing is changing and I need to carry on with normal stuff, but I'm so worried that something will happen and I won't be there. Apologies for going on about it.

This made me laugh way more than it should've

I got my Law result, finally, got a D, which I'm very pleased with as I was pretty sure I was going to fail :D

EDIT: That should've gone in smile/laugh looking at it again...

You should have phrased it better then.

Apparently Dave and Dom are dj-ing less than 4 miles from my house tonight. I'm not going though because it's at a notoriously rough nightclub and they don't start till midnight...

I haven't looked in this thread for a while, sorry to hear about your Aunt, Nicola. I hope she makes a good recovery, considering the circumstances.

National Express East Anglia, who have decided, yet again, to suspend all metro services this bank holiday Monday, meaning that I've been stranded (more or less) in Ilford, thanks NXEA :x
