A question for Aled
If you pay attention to my avatar are you going to sue the makers of South Park for the vile explotation of your image rights and the fact that they have basically named the character after you.

I believe Big Gay Al came first

[FAAled]

Aled I want to have your babies!

I'm touched!

[FAAled]

Aled - Have you got an advent calander?

Also are you going to the Fame Academy tour?

i have actually. I got very excited at seeing a Cadbury's advent calender so Scott and I bought one each. (that reminds me I haven't eaten any of my weekend choccies!). I then saw my friends had ultra special advent calendars and I feel a bit inadequate now! They've got a Celebrations calender!

you got on Minnie the Minx?

I'm definitely going on the tour!

[FAAled]

[FAAled]

Cool, so what did you start off as in the Beeb?

Work Experience for around 8 months (earning nothing) then my first job was on Eurovision Song Contest as a runner.

Hi Aled,

Just a quick question if you have time!!

A few months ago i managed to persuade my Aunt to send chris a box full of stuff from her website (http://www.expatboxes.com) to the show and chris read it all out and went through it!! He said he was going to send it to American Joe, any idea if he did?? Or what happened to it?

Well done for getting on the show!!

Thanks,

some people on the board got a bit worried about rumours of dave leaving because of new projects. could you clear any of it up please?

thanks

[Uglybob]

was the Eurovision the one that Dana International won then.

Overally how do you think Fame accademy has done? At first i thought it was rubbish but it has improved so much! Sinnead has to win..Very cute she is!

[Gaspode_The_Wonder_Dog]

i think i mentioned a while ago that it wasnt the format but the people that were in that were the problem. bearing in mind that 2 of the last 3 were not originally chosen (sinead was voted in an David is in by default) I think it shows a lot. The first few: Marlee, Nigel, that bird who left but was fit an Ashley were poor choices to go in.

If Lemar doesn't win the whole series has been a farce. He has the most talent by far.

[Lawrie]

Lemar is a good showman..however his voice is chronic at times that Saturday show appearance was a joke he sounded awful! Sinnead voice is really good and can suit many styles where as Lemar..sorry but his voice isnt "all that"

I still can't get over the fact that Ainsley's been kicked out

As a programme. For me, it's been very good. I've enjoyed doing it so much more than Big Brother (because it's the BBC and so we've had all kinds of extra stuff - like having them in the live lounge, exclusive interviews and stuff), I've enjoyed reviewing it more. Because I was able to give so much news as SO much happened in the series, unlike BB which is "Kate woke up early today", or "Jade and Kate are fighting again". A fact that's been highlighted by having Cheggers doing CBB at the same time as FA.

But I'm deeply dissapointed that because of scheduling (too early in the evening and against Moyles) it hasn't crossed over from being a success to being fanatical. Big Brother had much less viewers than Fame Academy but it had a fanatical following - that's the difference.

I'm really sorry, I can't comment on other members of the team on here. I don't know the answer.

It's not JUST about talent. There are SO many factors needed to help someone win the series.

[Sidders]

If it's not about talent what the hell's the point? It's not fair if the most talented one doesn't win just because one of the others is more attractive or whatever.

[Chris]

It's not a talent show - like Pop Idol isn't a singing show. It's about 'star quality', who do the public rate highest. The singing is part of it, the composing is part of it but let's face it - how many of the young girls sitting voting are thinking 'mmm, that Lemar writes some really thought provoking songs'? None - they're all thinking .. mmm, like the look of David.

[Lawrie]

i agree Chris...Sinead has impressed me with her singing and yet she will come third due to all the girls voting for David and Lemar as they fancy them..which does affect the whole show

[kendra k]

face it, there are less outlets for girls to express their love for trite men. just keep reading your fhm and the like...

[Lawrie]

Kendra...you think all us men are sexist? i voted for Sinead purley on the basis i think she is the best singer

[kendra k]

i don't think all men are sexist, i just think it's okay for women to be sometimes.
