Right - Which charity, and what should he wax?

No, it's OK.... I'll do a run or a bike ride instead.

I don't want to contemplate the pain of waxing one's feet. When I used to epilate my legs it always became excruciating when reaching the ankle area, so surely it must be even worse on the feet?...

Can it be my own bank account?

Well that was kind of the idea, but I'm not sure we could achieve it without drugging him first, which would defeat the object. Back to the drawing board.

I dunno - I think altruism is a defining characteristic of charity (not to mention the requirement for a licence and registration number......), so I'm not sure that a donation for foot-waxing under those circumstances could be justified.

How did it go?

Making me smile today is the rain and feeling cooler. Also making me smile is Waterloo Road is back on tonight and tomorrow night.

We were out today getting the last bits that we need to prepare for the baby... one of these was a baggy t-shirt that Cat wanted to give birth in. I found the PERFECT t-shirt for such an occasion:

I can remember the day this 'radio station' opened, twas the day Moyles hit back at Gordon Smart.

After the week "Gaunty" has had I reckon Moyles will have a sly grin on his face. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke!

Also, this made me smile a couple of weeks back. Last one tonight.

Probably was the right time for him to move on, Sachsgate or not.

This was yesterday, but making me smile was spending the afternoon with my two very good friends who live in the North East and had a very premature baby earlier this year. I met the baby too - he is three months old, or three weeks old, depending on which way you look at it, and absolutely gorgeous. I can't imagine how on earth these people got through the last few months really, and to see them now so well, so happy and so positive was brilliant.

That's great Yudz. :D I have a couple of friends currently going through the ordeal yours did, and I'll be seeing them tonight. Their baby was born by caesarian at 28 weeks and has been in an incubator for just over 3 weeks now. They've managed to stay positive in spite of everything - the baby's infections and anemia, the mother's infection (thankfully cleared up now), their own families being over a thousand miles away in Uruguay, not to mention the restrictions they have when it comes to caring for their their own child, and having to watch it grow in a plastic box in an intensive care unit. Fortunately the baby is making progress every day and fighting off the infections, but this is a very vital and difficult time.

On topic, making me happy today is that the Open Golf is over and St Andrews is getting back to normal. :D

Got our new pet rats yesterday - Sosage and Snuffleupagus. Haven't really taken any pics yet as we want to leave them to settle in, but I'm gonna try and get some over the next few days. They're very cute. :)

Oh! It went very well - going out again in a couple days. It's going pretty well in general, really. I have no expectations, but seeing him is making me happy, so it's all good.

That's good to hear :) I've been with my guy for almost 7 years, can't believe it's been so long 8O

Making me smile today is that I should have a peaceful day at work. Boss is on holiday and the person I share an office with is off too.
