I went to Ascot horse racing yesterday and it said that Simon Cowell had sponsored two races and will be presenting the prizes to the horse trainers that won those races. He never sodding showed up! He sent a friend instead, hmph. I won 11 pound on King Of Dixies though.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That man has turned Fulham round from being 20 minutes away from relegated to the Championship two years ago to now being in the Europa final, I definately think he deserves manager of the year (and I say that as a big Arsenal fan)

Nice one Woy :)

Dick :)

I love the appropriateness of the fine!

Making me smile is the prospect of the long weekend! I don't even mind that its going to rain and be cold. Baby Yudster is playing his second Essex Under 11 league fixture tomorrow and its away so we have a full day, then on Sunday we are going to Sussex to see Brother In Law and have a meal at his restaurant, and Monday we are just being lazy......after the week we've all just had here, I'm looking forward to thinking about something else for a few days.

Personally I'd be pleased if travelling with six females (I'm not falling into a trap with lassies there*)

*I should point out that I know lassies is scottish for women/girls/females, etc. before anyone thinks I'm being dense ;)

It is Pete Tong and he's here to wake us all up. What's that I heard him say... Carpark Catchphrase? The pub quiz? Give over.

Should be interesting.

EDIT

Hahaha this is VERY surreal indeed, not heard any Roy clips yet though....

Tong is having some technical issues, oh no! Train wreck radio but very funny.

And now, pub quiz, with Calvin Harris and Deadmau5, as yer do!

The reactions to Rob DJ are gold.

Horns at the ready! Oops! Wrong feature. Brilliant.

Moyles was hilarious on the subject this morning. And he also hinted at being pissed off about the way Mills covers the show, which I have always hoped he was. Unfortunately the word "contract" was mentioned in that context, so it doesn't sound as though there is any room for change there.

Yeah I thought that was brilliant, as he said he didn't have a problem with Pete Tong at all, but more with Management insisting on doing this type of "takeover day". Pete Tong is a great DJ, but he's a completely different DJ to Moyles so it just didn't work yesterday (although it was hilariously bad rather than just irritatingly bad). I did feel a bit sorry for Pete in some respects because Moyles' style of DJ is more than likely completely alien to him (I think on Capital FM he was the same sort of DJ as he is at Radio 1).

As for Mills, yep I got the same vibe from Moyles as you did Yudster, I've never really understood why they call it "The Chris Moyles Show with Scott Mills because Chris is on holiday" when absolutely nothing in the show represents Chris' show. If I recall correctly when Mills used to cover he used to play the cheesy song at the start but doesn't even do that these days. His style is also poor as well, you wouldn't mind if he spoke for a few minutes but ended a link properlly however he talks then randomly stops & puts on a tune, is it so much effort for him to at least do a version of the show? I know Vernon has the rest of the team with him when he covers for Chris but at least with Vernon he enters the spirit of the show, something Mills never does.

I tell you it's a bloody art how they chop it into a half hour TV show afterwards - they were continuously filming (apart from a two minute break to change the tape) for over two hours and when you watch it on telly, it'll all seem flowing and seamless. I imagine we won't see the bit where Stephen Fry called Bill Bailey a * face...!

Yeah, I think occasionally you can see on tv where it's been edited, but not often. Bill bailey is great - he signed my ex's guitar for me the first time he played here, back in...2003 I think. His tour manager was a pain in the backside, tho...
