 Sorry for the insult, but seeing as you are happy we lost I took that you were so if not then I'm guessing you're either a Man U or Chelsea fan then?

Oh dear, how did I know that someone from Devon would support Man U

Still you & Cheslea still have to play Spurs yet, they may both beat you yet.

To be fair we did have six of our main squad out on injury, proof that we need to buy more.

Anyway the scummy Spurs are so overjoyed of their first win against us in 11 years  that they've bought out a DVD about it apparently

Yep, my brother showed me it, I mean I can understand England beating Germany 5-1 but a game that they only beat us in because half the first squad are out is pathetic

Just got the news that my family have survived the 20hr coach journey and made it to France. They still have to get across the Channel, but I feel very happy that they're making some progress. It's starting to seem like there may be an end in sight.

That's good news Nicola. Hope they get home soon.

They really have knocked those changes up very quickly, haven't they? I can't wait for the British Grand Prix, even though I'm not going.

Some pikeys knocked on the door saying the had been doing a job down the road and had some tarmac left over.....

On more serious note, it should take Silverstone back to some of its former glory as a fast flowing circuit, before its mid-90s massacre. Yeah, the GP should be well worth a watch. And given what it costs to actually go to the GP weekend (even Friday practise) I don't really balme you for not going. Although those things do sound mint as they blast past on the Hangar Straight at full chat......

It's not as bad as it has been though, I think the tickets this year went down - but I still can't justify it.

That is very, very clever, and oh so true.

I come from a musical background, (ma n pa music teachers, innit) and am often amazed by the basic level of a lot of chart hit music. This is a simple, understandable showcase of that exact fact.

Good find Zoot.
