I remember being extremely pissed off when I was using my bump as a resting place for my plate, which had a ham sandwich on it - until the baby kicked and the whole lot went flying!

I remember feeling my brother kick when my mum was pregnant with him. I was only six at the time. Kinda wish I'd been older and able to appreciate it more.

Amusing me this morning is the sense of humour bypass that is most of the commenters on BBC's Have Your Say. I do wonder sometimes how such people manage to get out of bed in the morning. And what's wrong with a little lightheartedness for a change?

The only April Fool that's got me so far (although there's only 20 minutes until the deadline) was this one, until I actually read the article.

That's on Google as well. I just wound my Team Leader up saying I was going to resign today. She beleived me and I got a slap for it. I also wound up Mrs Andy J saying that I am being relocated to Leeds, oh and I also put the bedroom clock an hour ahead this morning which was very funny when she woke up... I love 1st of April!

My best effort today was to text my boss to say I wouldn't be in today (only made funny by the massive deadline we have today for which he was reliant on me!). :?

He admitted to initially panicing before remembering the date and concluding breakfast would be 'on me' (in a financial sense, not an odd sex game) as penalty for the wind up.

A few more April Fools that were bouncing around yesterday:

Apologies to all that have to go on the Daily Mail's site for the second one.

The baby likes my music over Cat's, if the kicks are to be believed...

I reckon dancing... you may laugh, but I read what some guy wrote about his daughter and she kicked to certain songs and bands and they weren't sure whether it was a sign she liked or disliked them, but apparently once she was born, she liked the same songs she kicked to in the womb.
