Language!!

Someone was swearing while we were waiting for the changing rooms to be unlocked, and a female PE teacher walked in to unlock the door and said 'Language please!!!'

Silly thing to be annoyed by, but what the hell. Anyway. I saw a headline about the "revelation" that Joe Calzaghe has occasionally taken cocaine since his retirement from boxing. Now I am not a fan of boxing, and I'm not a fan of Calzaghe - when he appeared on Strictly COme Dancing he came across as an arrogant, thick tosser, and I couldn't wait to see the back of him. However - whether I like him or not, Calzaghe was supreme in the "sport". He was unbeaten, and regarded as one of the greats - am I right there?

So where does this bloody headline writer get off writing a headline like "Strictly Star in Drugs Shock"? Strictly star? That's just damn rude. He might be an stupid up-himself celebrity now, but respect where its due.

Anyone else see the HORRENDOUS version of 'King of the swingers' sung by Craig David on the 'music from the movies' show on ITV?
Complete weird, inappropriate, miss-the-point-completely horse shit.
I'll post it on here as soon as it's on You Tube.

The stupid, STUPID clock change. I hate it. I'm tired and I blame it on that, it's the same every time we do it.

Summer? Have we bypassed spring then?

First day of Spring is officially March 21st. The clocks going forward signifies the beginning of British Summertime. Spring is a season, British Summertime just meanst Not Greenwich Mean Time, not that its Summer.

Well yes, I was being technically incorrect. The warmer weather last week had made it feel like summer was on the way though, and it was rather ironic that the temperature dropped and the snow appeared right after the clocks went forward. :(

For some unknown reason I decided to listen to Newsbeat at 12:45 today. It was awful, patronising garbage.

The worst part was hearing one of the worst news sections I've ever heard, and sadly it featured Dominic Byrne! They got some bloke on the phone who sells that mephedrone stuff (which Newsbeat keep pointing out isn't the same as methadone, thanks for the info Newsbeat) and basically got Dominic to ask him a series of incredibly biased, 'baiting' questions. Dominic should be ashamed for taking part :(

Listen to it on the iplayer if you can bear it.

^We haven't got snow here in St Andrews today, but blizzards in other places wouldn't surprise me considering how nasty the wind/rain is out there. :(

Everything's annoying me today. I gained 3lbs, my hair is fluffy and frizzy, my allergies are starting their yearly visit, I'm skint and work is crap. I s'pose I should be thankful that we don't have snow.

I'm with you there. I'm sure there's got to be a good reason why people change the clocks. I personally don't see the point in it. Some people say 'It's to get more sun/daylight'. Move to somewhere that gets a lot of sun then.

I don't know if anyone will have read this, but we've lost one of our beloved seals. :(

I know this is hardly the worst tragedy of the current bout of bad weather, and may seem like an odd or amusing story to some, but I'm actually quite upset by this news. I've visited him many times since I was a young kid and will miss him if he isn't found alive.

Given that he has been fed by humans all his life, I don't rate his chances. Poor Hardy.
