Yudster wrote:Bernard Cribbins has been a revelation lately. I knew how hilarious he used to be, but I was pleased to see he's got even better with age and I imagine most of you lot are experiencing his brilliance for the first time really. Wasn't he good on Buzzcocks? I think that was my favourite episode ever. Noel Fielding seemed genuinely gobsmacked by Cribbins too, I liked that.

Actually I found that Buzzcocks episode really underwhelming....sorry!

Catherine Tate, though. I don't even think I was born when 'The Final Countdown' was released and still got it instantly.

Back to work tomorrow, which feels worse than normal seeing as I've been off for 12 days. It's my boss more than anything, last time I came back to work after my holiday he had a go at me, so unfortunately I have this on my mind at the mo :(

Me. Just spoke to some friends who I haven't seen for a couple of years. They are going from strength to strength, they got married last year, they have settled into their little house, both doing really well at work, got the horse they had dreamed of last summer, she's just been promoted and they're having a baby in June. They sound so happy, and I am thrilled for them, really I am - I just wish I FELT thrilled. I just feel depressed. I love these people, why can't I be unconditionally happy for them? Why does it always have to be about me?

It's simple Yuds, use your jealousy to motivate you to get the things you want, then you can look down on them again!

New Year, new beginning, don't fell bad, it's a natural feeling.

I don't want to look down on them - and certainly not "again", I never did! I just get annoyed with myself when other people's good fortune just makes me think about myself instead of them. Feeling less negative this morning though, so maybe I'm not quite such a monster.

Thank you. But it leads me to the most obvious question - where the hell is Foot Loose? He hasn't been around for ages.
