*imagines the flat in the Primark queue* I'd imagine the flat is a bit on the tight side.......

Today, I have been mainly listening to....Chris Moyles - either the album or YouTube vids

Late now but went to see La Roux on Wed - amazing, but over far too quickly! Going again in May.

A fast approaching week off is also making me smile

This. I don't care for Christmas outside of December, but for that song could be played all year round (I know it's December now, I'm just saying).

I half agree, but that would make the song lose its "Christmassyness" for me and I love that association as much as the song itself.

EDIT: Also, I thought playing that this morning was a great way to mark the start of December,, but I still think it's too early to start playing stuff like that on a regular basis. The middle of the month (or 2nd week at the earliest) is the best time for that, when the work party season is in full swing. :D

You would have hated Hong Kong then Latina, when we landed & got off the plane they were playing jingle bells in the airport. The major office tower blocks had christmas decorations on them & by about the 18th November they had all the decorations up & non stop Christmas songs, oh and the JLS song that Chris has parodied (can't remember the name of the original song) every other day, twice a day

Oh the Pogues song is great by the way :)

Wizzard's song is my favourite, always loved that one :)

I love all the classic Christmas chart tunes, which is one of the reasons I hate X-Factor so much, for wiping out a long standing national tradition.

I still have to say though that my favourite Christmas record is a Cliff Richard one, although I don't normally like him and his stuff at all - Saviour's Day however is lovely.

I like Mistletoe and Wine  ... but that's really because of certain childhood memories. When it came out in 1988 I was five years old and that happens to be the first Christmas I can remember being really excited about.

Yeah, the X Factor has ruined the Christmas Number One. But it's worth remembering that the number one is rarely of a Christmas theme.

I quite like the Christmas Number Two list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_number_two

I don't know what possessed me to look on the bottle of Coke I'm drinking (well, what used to be a bottle of Coke that I've filled with something else), but it says on the label "this 500ml bottle contains 2 x 250ml servings". No shit, sherlock.

I went to the local cinema last night for the annual St Andrews extravaganza that is the screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Words cannot describe how much I love that film. :D

Today we've been told to come in in suits or at the very least ties (for a reason that is certainly not making me smile... more on that later), so my boss has come in with a toothbrush moustache and a side parting.
