I find todays comments from yourselves towards bradcali out of order. He did the basics. Stated the facts. And posted the link to direct us. (as people like johnny. Yudster and others have moaned at him to do) so the be-littleing and the abuse that has come from yourselves is pretty un-called for. And borderline bullying tactics.

There seems too be some apologies that should come. But i doubt that the people who've posted these posts will apologise.

Ah I see my name is mentioned there as well, it's not bullying nor do I owe him an apology. He knows why he gets so much stick on here & yet he continues to do the exact same thing each time.

And whining about being bullied when he isn't is just going to make me less inclined to go easy on him.

Someone just phoned me looking for some galvanised something or other. I told him he had the wrong number. He asked me what my number was. I told him it was the one he'd just dialled. He hung up.

You can't beat the stupidity of others to make you smile.

It's looking increasingly likely that the vocals are at least 20 years old though. Wikipedia was even claiming it might be from the Off The Wall sessions. When I get a chance to hear it properly again I'll see if I can make a guess judging by the way his voice sounds, as it did vary from album to album.

I'm not even sure if Michael planned this to be part of the tour. Supposing Sony just went through his catalogue of demos recently, were lucky enough to find something with the lyrics 'This Is It', and had it polished as something "new" to release to help the promotion? Not that that's a bad thing - it will enormously help the MJ estate to get back on its feet.

And also despite my cynicism, I like the song too, and the footage of him signing live during the researsals is also proof enough that he still had "it" anyway. :)

The Lyrebird in Attenborough's new series, he's brilliant, he's like that dude from Police Academy, he can do all the sounds of stuff, wildlife, and even human sounds, the car alarm was great!

It's on BBC Homepage at the moment:

this is what chris said, so i'm not sure which came first - whether chris' comments were sourced from wikipedia or vice versa.

I got so sad when the first minutes of his rehearsal were released because i would have been able to see Jacko at about 60% of his best, which would still beat any live act now days by a clear mile

You mean co-wrote it. ;) The profits will be 50-50.

The guy in question also wrote 'My Way'. 8O

yes yes, co-wrote :(

still, the song will be a giant commercial success and he'll be minted :)

can't imagine how angry the guy was when he was under the impression he'd get nothing for it. bet the 'jackson estate' are wishing they chose a different song now...

I think it was all Sony's doing - they own all publishing rights now, don't they? I can also imagine the Jackson brothers (who you can hear in the background) literally leaping at the chance to be involved in this. And I doubt Michael would have wanted to use this at all.

It's funny how it all sounds so contrived and cynical but ultimately the prettiness of Michael's vocals on it makes me not really care.

i think Sony have only 10% of the proceeds, while the estate gets 90% for the film and soundtrack - unfortunately i can't find the article where i heard that originally :( i'm not sure who will be making the decisions in it though.

however, good song is good :D

I can't remember which newspaper it was in but apparently it was a discarded track from the Dangerous album, which makes sense to me as I think it has a sense of 'Heal The World' about it

There's also a part of it that sounds almost identical to 'Why', a song he wrote for his nephews 3T in the mid nineties. (Give me a break, I was 13 and a Smash Hits reader at the time, etc etc...)

Getting back on topic, currently making me happy (although it shouldn't be) is Nurofen Plus. 8)
