I think he probably is, yes, although all I want to do to the bloke in his avatar is punch him in his smug git face

Or Zippy. Yes, Zippy. That'll do.

Yep I noticed yours & laughed, Beano Boris is awful in London, the fans of his though reckon that Red Ken did nothing, but guess what Beano Boris fans, the new trains on the Victoria Line, Met Line & North London Line were all put in motion by Red Ken, not Beano Boris, yet he's taking all the credit. No change there for politicians then.

If they're going to let Golf into the Olympics then they should let Darts in. :)

BoJo has no input into the sports allowed into the Olympics though; besides, I should have been clearer - those sports are in for 2016.

I agree with whoever it was who said that if an Olympic gold medal is not the highest prize offered by a sport, it shouldn't be in the Olympics.

Apologies, my mistake I thought you meant for 2012 :)

However the dipstick now wants to move the shooting events (grouping name for those escapes me at the mo) from Greenwich to Barking, great idea Boris.

Now we are a part of Marsh!! :( Grr!! Bye bye job!!

Sorry to hear that, fingers crossed you keep your job.

Mine has got me in such a state at the mo that I'm snapping at virtually everything & anything. If I'm not leaving work with a headache it's with a bad stomach at the mo.

Still we move to our next office on the 19th which is a plus, hopefully it'll get better.

This would be my feeling on it too. I have no problem with Golf and Rugby Sevens being in there since Tennis and Football are too. But then none of them should be in my opinion.

The main one in London is in Tower Place which is a nice office, I tend to spend most of my time there, but I also go to several sites around the sites to work, although they are not Guy Carp. The Witham one is good, there is our O2 and vodadfoe call centre above it, full of fitties!!

Mr Yudster doesn't work for Marsh at Tower Place any more, so the number of fitties has dropped considerably......!

Tower Place is the one down the road from us and they have one also round the corner in Minster Court but the talk from the CEO this morning was suggesting moving us from London to Witham, which I think would mean for me to move jobs. I love working in London and don't want to move out of here even if Witham is 25min drive which would be cheaper than the £2188 train ticket from Laindon.

I could fill the void that Mr Yudster has left...

Well, he left it about five years ago so you might be late, but he is as irreplaceable as they get, so you never know!

The Witham office is good as you get a free lunch every day from hot meals to sandwiches. It's really good food as well. They don't do that in any of our other offices.
Personally I would pick the Witham office over our London one. I don't like working in London. It annoys me.

I loved living and working in London, but I don't think I'd have loved it so much if I'd had to pay for my accommodation. As it was I had a lovely flat in a lovely area, and could thoroughly enjoy myself without constantly worrying about budgeting.

Yeah I don't think I could live in London to be honest. It's not too bad commuting, especially on the c2c but I'd definitely miss the London life if I wasn't working there.

You must do the same journey my ex-colleague who was from Basildon did into Liverpool Street I think.

Orange telling me i have 94 minutes left yesterday, (I thought that was a bit odd at the time) Me making a lengthy phone call, then re checking my minutes today for it still to say 94.. now that's clearly not right and I have probably gone over and have a huge bill coming.

at least when I phoned customer services and said what was going on.. the guy seemed nice enough and I could understand him! and gave me his extension and told me to phone him on the 19th if I've been charged and if I have he will see what he can do. He also said he will check my account each day and if any charges do come up he will call me.

But between now and the 17th (my billing date) I'm stuck not knowing if I have any minutes or not, so trying not to make any calls, and dreading a huge bill, which I won't be happy about paying.

Close, I go into Fenchurch Street. It's not a bad commute on that line at all. 30 minutes and I'm at work.
