Well really the point was if on sky plus you record a film, and that film is separated by the news, then Sky planner should be intelligent enough to either

a)Record all the news and the second half of the film or
b) Stop recording at the start of the news, and start recording at the end of it or
c) Warn you that a second part if coming in an hour, and would you care to series link it so it records the second half.

None of these things seem hard.

Nor does, in hindsight thinking, it's ITV its late, they always have the news on at 10, I had better check that it's on after the news and record that bit as well.

Aww, bless. It's working fine now, bob. And, Lottie, I've been there. That sucks. Even worse is when it's towels. They dry crunchy.

Miss Yudster really likes using clean crunchy towels that have been dried on a radiator. She reckons its the best total-body exfoliator around. It must be like trying to wrap yourself in a piece of toast.

Have you tried microwaving your underwear yet? I used to do that all the time when I didn't wash often enough/lived in a flat too cold to get it dry in time...

The signup sheet for the annual office Christmas party came to my desk today. I quickly scribbled 'NO' and passed it on :D

No doubt I will now get the usual questions of 'why aren't you going?' but I feel replying with 'because you all get pissed and act like arseholes' may get me fired 8)

Office parties....not my cuppa tea!

Not to be tried with an underwired bra, tho. I am definitely a feminist, but I'd never intended to burn my bra in quite such a literal fashion.

If you are having a bad day just remember,"We are the world,we are the children,we are the one's to make a brighter day so let's start giving.I might be missing Michael Jackson but I'm hiding it well.(I had tickets for today if you're wondering.)

You can get fairy lights for a couple of quid at B&Q - and with all your quilting talent, can you make some cushions? It'll be better soon Char, you'll settle in. Maybe you could make another Red Bull mirror frame, that wuld make it feel like home, and also mean that you would stay awake long enough to make the cushions too!

Thanks for reminding me - I need to pick up my This is It tickets from the town cinema. :)

Annoying me just now is that my boss has decided to hot desk in our office for the day, and keeps trying to engage us in friendly work banter. I like her, but mainly when she's upstairs, where she should be.
