After having four days away from work, and therefore becoming completely relaxed & lowering my stress levels down to virtually nothing, I return to work to find 4 people (including me) in my whole department & an idiot colleague who keeps asking me over & over again the same * question because someone is hassling him & for the fourth * time I have told him what I need for him in order for me to process the "urgent" thing ASAP, and yet the twat still ignores my reply & will probably ask the same * question before I go away to Hong Kong!!!!!!

I'm so eagerly counting down those 9 weeks to Hong Kong, can't wait for 17 days away from that gaff :x :x :x

That said, it is a big pile of Triceratops dung.

All of the above. Its terrible when they are opening a box and say stupid things like "Oooh, i know it's a blue for you" - * OFF!!!!!! And the whole thing about saying thank your or it doesn't matter to the person who opened the box - like they had any influence? What a really really awful show it is.

I'll be honest I always found it rather wanky, all of those with the other boxes giving (fake) support & the whole thing is dragged out over an hour, when it could easily fit into a half hour slot with out all the useless toss that goes on in between

Come Dine With Me is another show I can't stand, the narrator is a twat, as are most of the contestants, some of them are nice people though, but you always get one toffy nosed tosser on the show.

Come Dine With Me is just another TV generated opportunity for shallow voyeurs with no lives to watch people being manipulated into slanging matches and general humiliating situations. Its no different to all the other structured "reality" argument shows, the food is just tacked on in a vain attempt to give it some integrity. Which it doesn't.

I'd probably like it if it was a competition about cooking and giving dinner parties. I'm not interested in another generic "reality" arguments show though.

charlalottie wrote:Come Dine With Me is great, and the narrator is very funny. Deal or No Deal is very wankery and I don't understand why people play it on the itbox when the guys inevitably go on it when we're at spoons as we never win any money. Even if we scratch his beard for luck.

 My brother normal calls him a smug twat when we he loses, although he did once win a £1 off of it. Hex Appeal is better although the new "extreme" version is rubbish (even though it's the same basic game)

Ah don't be so precious.. if you can give as good as you get, you'll be fine. If someone doesn't agree with what you've written, why shouldn't they say so? The fact you like Scott Mills is likely to be greeted with some ridicule on here, because most of us find his show to be puerile shite.

What the * is potentious supposed to mean? Presumably you meant pretentious? Anyhow I second Cat - Piss off then.

Annoying me.......The amount of flipping threads I haven't read as I've been too busy/self absorbed to post. Are any of them worth reading before I trawl through them all?

Funny, it's the same on every forum I've ever been on. Those there the longest have little in-jokes newbies won't get. Half of your bio was ripe for the picking I'm afraid. It really is nothing personal.

Jealousy.

One of my work colleagues got a call about an hour ago asking her if she wanted to go to the Chris Moyles Karaoke tonight. Not only is she going, she's got a bloody half day!

She's not annoying me, the fact I'm not going is.

If you don't like it here, there is no better advice than that.

Work, which I know I post on here, ooh, every other day  but...

I can't remember if I mentioned this a while back but a colleague has been off sick for about a month now, and it looks like she won't be coming back (accidently overhearing a conversation in the office), problem is there may be a chance she won't be replaced, which means we've now got 7 peoples work to share between 3 of us, oh * joy! Not only that there's a strong possiblity that we won't be getting a pay rise now, until 2011 :x

So if you are a postman & a railworker who's on strike because you want 70 holidays a year & a 75% pay rise, don't be suprise if I kick you in the bollocks if I walk past your picket line!!! :x ;)

I'm with Johnny.

My work mate has basically spelled out to our boss that although shes not handing in her notice just yet, she has no intention of staying at the company for the forseeable future. Which looks now like she can get away with spending most of her time job hunting whilst dishing out the work to me and my colleague. I have no intention of taking on her role (slightly higher than me) if/when she leaves as I too also want to change jobs, just haven't mentioned it to our superiors, so I don't need all the stuff she can't be bothered to deal with.

No wonder shes happier now.
