I've had morphine after all my operations, but I was too out it to remember much, apart from the needle in my backside! I usually take my dad's co-dydramol these days, but after a couple of days of taking them they start to affect my stomach and my sleeping patterns, so they're not much fun in the long term. My dad has had to stop taking all his anti-arthritic medications while they investigate his internal bleeding, so he's just on painkillers at the moment, and he's not having a great time of it either.

I think Deal or No Deal is actually a rather insidious furthering of a pre-destination/fate philosophy. It's basically telling everyone 'what will happen has already been decided, all you can change is what happens along the way'
