Yes, I am saying that, you're missing the point. It's two completely different things, the usual reason you'd eat out is because you're away from home or for a treat. Yes, sometimes you'd go out because you can't be arsed to cook, but the reason you'd buy pre mashed potato would be because you are planning to take it home and eat it there. Boiling an egg or mashing potato is not difficult, but these products are brought out to eliminate the preparation. Frozen roast potatoes are available to have with your usual Sunday Roast. You stick them in the oven and heat them up so you don't have to peel and baste (sp?) them. You wouldn't buy them as a treat or because you're away from home.

No I'm not - I understand your point, I just don't agree with it. Doing something because it's convenient does not mean that you are lazy. If it did then pretty much every person on the planet could be classed as lazy.

Ok, maybe the word 'Lazy' is too strong. I'm saying that I find it sad yet expected that our culture allows a market for pre-prepared food like pre-boiled eggs and pre-grated cheese when it takes little effort and time to do it yourself and i don't believe it was ever aimed purely at people with busy lifestyles.

I've never had a debate about mashed potato before.

Zoot, you shouldn't engage with Console when he's in Troll mode. Its not so much that he misses the point, he sees it very clearly then skirts around it in a great big pointless circle. He does it all the time.

More to the point, why on earth does anyone want to eat pomegranates anyway? They taste of nothing and have no substance - you have to spit 90% of it out. Typical fashion food.

I'm in the office, working on one hour of sleep. I need to try and snap out of the bad routine I get into at weekends. I can never get to sleep if I've slept in at all the previous morning. :(

Lots of things are annoying me today. I am tense and anxious about Miss Yudster flying off to Kenya the day after tomorrow, and then being away for a whole month. Mr Yudster has just announced that he has arranged for Baby Yudster to go and stay with his parents for a week while she is away - but not because he has any plans for the week or anything, oh no - he'll be at work, I'll be stuck at home on my own (apart from Layabout Yudster who doesn't count) without even Baby Yudster to keep me company. So I can occupy myself with not just missing Miss Yudster, but missing Baby Yudster too. How lovely it will be.

I think I might run away from home, that'll teach them all.

Be careful what you ask for........!

Miss Yudster flies off to Kenya tomorrow, I have to take her to the airport - and she is insisting we all go out for a meal tonight (which I will have to pay for of course) to say goodbye. I can't think of anything I'd like to do less right now.

I despise Premiership football and 'major league' sports in general. Obscene amounts of money being spent on players while people are starving in the world.

Oh and rabid football fans annoy me too. Killing each other in street fights over which team they support. Pathetic.

I agree, what gets me with the FA is that a couple of seasons back they bought in a rule that any player that takes of his shirt in a goal celebration ends up with a yellow card, which I think is one of the most stupidest rules they've ever introduced to the game.

However calls for the FA to cap transfer market prices has been ignored on numerous occasions, good to see the FA get their priorities right, then again Adam Crozier is involved with the English FA now, this is the twat who ran Royal Mail at one stage.

I found the whole Ronaldo transfer costs (£80m) diabolical, especially when for £20m more you could have bought Newcastle Football Club itself! The arrogant little * also said that he thought he was worth £80m, prick!

Arsenal have tried to keep back from all this, but it's getting to the stage where they're going to have to do the same to stay in the top four, mainly as the FA won't cap the money spending.

It's also due to the overspend on the Premier League which means that Division 1 teams (I choose to use the old names) never stand a chance when they get promoted.

Something needs to be done with the overspending in English Football, but I suppose until that twunt is disposed off then it's never going to change unfortunately.

I am having a mega stressful morning.

Today I have to take Miss Yudster to Heathrow. At 9.40, I discovered that my car had been vandalised overnight - the drivers door mirror has been ripped off. I will be needing one of those for motorways. The insurance company said they can't get a hire car to me in time for me to leave in time for the airport. So I've had to find a car to drive today, make a claim, organise the proper hire car, report it to the police - all I want to do is go to the bloody airport and say goodbye to my daughter!

Still, done now. And the up side - I get to drive to Heathrow in a bright red Golf GTI. Hehehehehehehe.
