Ha. Just me and Topher went. I had a spare ticket so asked if he wanted to come along, and he did.
T'was a great day, if not a little too long.

Many people feel that after spending time with Topher.

Not true. Not many people find it a great day. That said, I don't think it was me who made it great anyway.

Whats REALLY annoying me today is the massively over the top coverage given to the Michael bloody Jackson memorial. What angers me further is that on all radio news reports, the Jackson memorial story was first, then the July bombings memorial WAS SECOND!

What kind of a celebrity obsessed culture do we live in when a memorial to a creepy pop star is ranked above a memorial to victims of the biggest terrorist attack on British soil?

This is madness!

Madness? THIS! IS! ENGLAND!

What about the 5th anniversary? Surely that will be something to look forward to. If it matters so much.

Our friend died yesterday 9 months after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. At 60, a Christian, non smoking, clean living, giving, caring loving Mother and Grand Mother has passed away, and the world is a worse place as a result.

Brain tumour is apparently the most common terminal cancer now. Scary. And 9 months isn't very long to get used to the idea. Sorry Boboff.

Heard on the radio last night that supermarkets are going to start stocking already boiled eggs. I mean, come on, seriously? We already have pre-mashed potatos, already peeled carrots, frozen yorkshire puddings, podded peas, seeded pomegranates, pre-grated cheese, frozen roast potatoes, already crushed garlic etc etc etc.
We really are turning into a lazy-arse nation aren't we? I'm actually suprised you can't by already buttered bread, or ready-made toast.

Cuts out the middle pan.

How are they different to normal baked beans?

They dont come in a tin, just when I was getting used to transferring them into my own tupperware then along comes this new packaging from Heinz, I've a habit of trying new things anyway so I'm not surprised I bought them.

You can buy buttered bread and ready-made toast at many super-markets. You can also buy all sorts of ready-made meals that you don't even have to cook - you just buy them and they give them for you to eat there and then - you don't even need to wash the dishes afterwards.

Do you mean in the supermarket Cafes? cause that doesn't count

Well I know some service stations have a microwave so you can zap your meal, but I've never seen a supermarket do it. Although our new Sainsbury's will cook your pizza for you.

see now you lose half the fun if its already seeded. I remember my ex bf trying to eat a pomegranate and half of it ended up all over the kitchen!

I, for one, would welcome de-seeded and already peeled butternut squash, having struggled like * to do it the other day.

For what reason would that not count?

Because I was talking abut pre-packaged convenience food. The story last night was night was about supermarkets selling pre-boiled eggs, but they've been selling them in supermarket cafe's for years. I was talking about easy to prepare food that is already prepared for you, although you would still take it home and use it in family meals.

So buying pre-prepared food in a super-market and then cooking/heating it yourself is lazy, but buying pre-prepared food and having someone else cook/heat it and then serve it to you isn't lazy?
