It was brilliant the way Sacha targeted an American Awards Show, because they're all supposed to be dull affairs, full of "cool" people.

True, true. I thought for a minute it might have been staged, but then I came to my senses - I mean it's not as though Cohen's part of the MTV crowd, right? And neither of them have got any products to push right now after all. Nope, he's just subversive.

Yep, Em had a mic, the cameras very well placed. My guess is they both planned it but Sacha being who he is went 12 steps further, balls of steel that man.

It almost certainly was staged, but it was a clever bit of marketing for both parties. I thought it was funny.

London Buses, first off my first bus had a 19 minute waiting time so I ended up having to walk to the town centre, which added 10-15 minutes to my journey & then my second bus bloody broke down! Needless to say I was half an hour late for work & not please :x

I fell out with buses when I had to walk home from a night out between Christmas and New Year when there was randomly no buses running that night and nothing to indicate why.

Buses smell and have people I don't know on them who are often dirty and unpleasant. I tend not to use them for these reasons. Oh and also we live on a rural bus route and if we are lucky we might get three buses per day from here into the town centre, none of which will be going anywhere at the time I want to be going somewhere. So not only are buses horrible, they are also pretty useless. Also it will cost me £2.60 each way to go into town on the bus. I can park for four hours for £3.00, so really, what the * are they for?!

You could say the same about the Tube really, but they do have a purpose. Certainly in London, the Tube is efficient and buses run around the clock pretty much. If I lived there, I don't think I'd have a car.

The tube, on the whole is pretty good, London Buses depends on the route, some have a better frequencey than others. As for Network South East (British Rail) good when it was called NSE, now it's National Rail half the time it's useless (especially National Express East Anglia)

Ah, buses. One reason I moved into the city centre! I do not miss that journey one little bit.

Do you live near me? Same situation here. Last bus from town to the end of my road is about 6 I think

I got called a snob for saying I didn't like the bus. Actually, I got called a snob for saying it was quicker and cheaper for me to get the underground, but that was taken as saying I didn't like the bus.

I don't like the bus, but that's besides the point.

Had it again on the way home, ran for a bus which was at the bus stop with no passengers but had one passenger getting off the bus. Now surely the bus driver must have been looking in his mirror before he closed the doors yet failed to see a big fat man running for the bus :x

123 Bus drivers are always rude * :x

Well he must be pretty good if he's got his test after 2 weeks of training. Although what I don't understand is he didn't learn on the roads or even in the same area as where he'll actually be driving once he passes. I guess that's to come next

Girl who works next to me has had her working visa renewal denied because her account balance dropped below £800 one month, now she has 28 days in the country and has to reapply from her home country, which will take a month : so she may lose her job completely.

Eh? Visa legislation isn't something I've had a huge amount of experience in, but I've had a bit - where is THAT little gem hidden? It sounds absolutely farcical!

chrysostom - I don't actually believe this. I think there must be other reasons. I have a friend from South Africa who's been over here for going on 8 years now and her account is NEVER over £800. She's never had a problem with her Visa, neither has the cleaner at work who has never got any money - I know she brings me her bank statements cos she doesn't understand them!
