Yeah, I'm changing doctors. My current one is a half hour bus ride away but when there's one a 10min walk away it seems silly not to change. I have my medical card and birth certificate, but they still need to see the tenancy agreement apparently. I wouldn't be that bothered by it if I didn't need to see a doctor, but I do.

Probably to prove you live in the area they cover, although I imagine a utility bill would do the same thing.

Yeah it would. But my flatmate handles the utility bills so I think the tenancy agreement is the only thing with my name and address on it that they'll take. I do understand why they need it, it's just a pain when I'm waiting for an appointment.

Oh yeah the one by Piccadilly station, went in there with a stubbed toe once, it was like some sort of junior doctor's training camp. They just told me to go to GP. Brilliant. But I didn't like my GP, he struck me as a Daily Mail reader, generally didn't like him, have changed since.

I've never been there...I think I need to be referred for an x ray tho so I'm pretty sure I need to see a GP for that anyway...they'll need my notes and stuff.

The wire thing can be a right pain. Especially when you only realise its happened AFTER its poked you up the nose - so if course everyone you've spoken to in the last three hours knew about it before you did.

Well, assuming you haven't changed address since you opened that account, just ask them to send you a new PIN. If you've changed addresses, that would complicate matters slightly and you'd probably need to ask them.
