I still haven't forgiven you for sacrificing it. That wasn't part of the plan.

Lost it? Be thankful you had it at all! That's more than I've managed!

I've got mine. Loads of it too. I get it shipped in on a weekly basis. That's what working in a bar does for you. I have to pretend to be dull and boring to turn em away. Admitedly I don't have to try that hard but I make an effort.

Andy, that's because you're Prince Charming. Danny, I couldn't even watch that. I fast forwarded, saw what it was about and stopped. Sad.

Getting a text message at 4am from a member of staff telling me he's not going to be in work today - I am very suspicious about his story as to why. My divisional manager is visiting AND I have a Kids Fun Day with Kipper the Dog, a face painter etc etc. Now I can't get back to sleep cos I don't think I have enough staff for the day and no one to call in spare. Today is NOT off to a good start.

Trying to get insurance for my iphone - here is the story so far.

When Mrs Zoot bought it in the shop (on Pay & Go), She asked about insurance. They said I could do it within 28 days of buying the phone and I could do it as a monthly direct debit in the shop.
So I get the phone and have a look online, where it clearly says If the phone is on Pay and Go, you cannot do insurance monthly, but have to pay for it in one big lump. I accept that. There s a number online to do it over the phone but as it was late and I was going up town the following day anyway, i decided i'd do it then.
So next day in town, I pop in to the shop. I ask about the insurance and he looks at me blankly, telling me that you can't do it in the shop, it has to be done over the phone. I go home and phone up. The guy on the phone say's not a problem, i can do it on the phone, I CAN do it monthly despite what the website says but I have to register my Sim Card first, which will take about 3 days. So I register the card. That was Saturday. I phoned up again about 10 minutes ago to be told I can indeed pay monthly, except... I can't do it on the phone, I need to do it at the shop.

* Sake.

Phone the shop?

Plus, when you are talking to the call centre, tell them you want to talk to the iPhone department - they will know more about it than the normos. (That said, I dunno if you get different rules if you are on Pay as you Blab.)

I'm going to phone the shop, but I think I want to make a complaint first, researching the best way to do it.
And yea - the number I ring is dedicated to iphone insurance.

Update on the insurance thing - Just phoned up Customer Services who told me I CAN get monthly insurance over the phone. She gave me £5 complimentery credit and is emailing me an address to make a complaint. She gave me the number I can ring to get insurance, which was the same number as before. I ring up, and was told EXACTLY the same thing as last time. I explain what the lady from customer service told me and was told it was wrong.
Here we go again.

Phone one lot and tell them to phone the other lot. Tell them you aint playing piggy in the middle. Tell them once they have sorted out who is right they should phone you back and get it done. Take the name and contact details of the first person you speak to. Ask them to call you back within the hour.

I flew back with Ryanair from Stansted to Sevilla yesterday, and when I got off, after a rapid descent I couldn't hear anything out my left ear. Woke up this morning, my hearing's fine but there was blood on my pillow and my nose was pissing out blood like a burst water main. Is this bad?

My garage door has broken and trapped both my car and my son's car inside. My husband randomly took a hammer to the garage door track. Big surprise, it didn't work. He then drove happily off to work, leaving us to cope with rides and repairs on our own. Ducky.
