Royal Fail, erm sorry Mail, for their exceptionally slow International Post service. I've been waiting for several items from abroad for ages, two of which went via recorded first class delivery from the respective countries & have yet to materialise.

Royal Mail can be bloody ropey at the best of times but they seem to have got worse in delivering international post :x

The BBC iplayer for being so bloody slow.

I thought I was staying up for the race, but then I realised it all kicks off at 6 this morning, not 2... I'm not staying up for that - time to set the alarm!

My iPod is being a nightmare and now is saying there is too much to fit from my iTunes, even after deleting several things, so now podcasts aren't being synced which means no Moyles on there - help!!

My contract ending tomorrow and no sign of another job yet - that's pissing me off whilst at the same time making me slightly apprehensive :?

I'm a Building Surveyor/Project Manager.
This end of the financial year, everyone is reviewing their budgets, so recruitment goes through a cold patch.
Might be ok in a couple of weeks though.
Fingers crossed.

Yep, another branch of our company let off 6 members of staff apparently. Seeing as there's only 6 of us here its (luckily) not possible.

Fingers crossed for you though

This story about a lady who drove off a cliff -
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20090330/tuk ... a1618.html

A few things struck me -
Barbara Tyreman, 60, accidentally hit the accelerator of her Mini as she tried to reach for her seatbelt when leaving her home

Ok, so either it was a manual car which she had in gear with the clutch engaged and was coasting slowly down the drive WHILE she was putting her seat belt on, or it was an automatic which was in Drive and she didn't have her foot on the brake. She still must have been coasting though.

"I was hurtling down the drive and I tried to put the brake on but for some reason I kept hitting the accelerator and just carried straight on.

Now come on, should this woman really be driving a car? She doesn't seem to be able to master the most basic of controls. The brake is NEXT to the accelerator. If you hit the accelerator 5 times in a row when you really want to brake, wouldn't you think of moving your foot to the left a bit?

Zoot, that is a definite Darwin fail. In that Darwin completely failed to come through.

I'd say an Epic Darwin Fail in this case, much like that moron I mentioned on the Jade Goody thread
