That'll be the iPhone's auto correction feature then......Thank god you can now turn it off. Still not as bad as my old phone with buttons....my missus couldn't understand it when I said I wanted some good coal action tonight.

Could be worse, you could have wanted to have some * action.

New day, new thing & it's only two hours into Saturday & and ad has just come on Dave which is three birds dressed up as "sexy santa's" with a really terrible tune & the girls saying in a thick (as in dumb) accent "I really need to text" - I hate these ads, at least Chat Back was genius (well it was for 1996)

I imagine her response to either would have been pretty similar.

Ha - I am being subjected to CBeebies. Not too bad right now, as its Space Pirates (go Zorst!), but it will be In The Night Garden soon enough. That show really creeps me out.

Could be turnip, if you were related to Baldrick.

I watched kids telly yesterday when I picked my sister and Joel up and spent the day Christmas shopping with them. It was on Channel Five and narrated by Stephen Fry and had an elephant and various other creatures. Aside from the kids telly, I have two observations to make from this:

  • Before Joel was born, the thought of going shopping with my sister would have filled me with dread and probably her as well - but actually, it was an enjoyable day - I spent the whole day with my nephew!
  • I get shitloads of attention pushing a pushchair around a shopping centre.

Now that is a phenomenon I know a lot about. 18 years old, pushing my 10 month old sister around Sandton in Jo'Burg dressed in a $2000 suit. I got so many phone numbers and random women introducing themselves it was unreal.

Babies are great bird pullers. Even when all they do is scream you get the sympathy vote.

I still hate changing nappies though.

Toph - if you can make it work for you then good work fella.

That I got lumbered with decorating our department's Christmas Tree again (apparently I don't have as much work to do as everyone else, yeah right). But what made it worse was that I had to decorate 2, one 3ft one & one 6ft one. Did anyone help me? Did they b*ll*cks :x

What's annoying me is that after beating Chelsea on sunday and being in an extremely good mood because of it, some wanker decides to jump me on the way home and have had a headache ever since!! Some kind of "Welcome to Basildon" maybe...

Another two weeks surely?

Not in our office, they literally make a dash & grab for the decorations & you end up with ll the sh*tty ones. I take it you've never had the misfortune to visit Dagenham then, they have their decorations up from the last week of November 8O

One of my colleagues in the sales office has had a mini tree on her desk since mid-November. Seriously.

Still a couple of weeks at least to go, I agree.

Normally ours goes up around 12-14th December however because I'm going up to Middlesbrough on the 13th to see Arsenal lose to Middlesbrough & having things on on the 14th I've got to do it this week, of which because we have a big tree indoors & about 200 decorations I have to spend 4 hours on Saturday or Sunday decorating the b*st*rd.

Anyway what annoyed me today (or yesterday evening) was yet another complaint about the BBC (complain about how sh*te ITV1 has become since Thames went) & then also that advert for Barnardos, which, I know is uncomfortable to watch but this DOES happen to kids sadly & rather than these stupid "wrap everything up in cotton wool & it'll go away & we'll pretend it doesn't exist" brigade that want it banned really are missing the point. We shouldn't be brushing this type of thing under the carpet, especially, as the case in the LB Haringey has shown.

If anything ban those stupid ads for confused.com with the bloke who looks liek he's wearing a shrunken wig (if you know what ad I'm referring to )
