Stupid wireless network. Won't allow me to get online on my laptop. Just keeps saying "identifying" I know it works else I wouldn't be able to post this on my phone.

Stupid technology.

There is a fix for that i think Andy, I have had it on a couple of laptops that I have bought. It's something to do with Microsoft not being set up as the thing that controls the wireless. There is a fix for it, at microsoft, and I think you have to temporarily disable your firewall and virus stuff, manually change the "whose in charge of WiFi" and go on microsoft for the "fix"

If it isn't and I have now made myself out to be a fool, then Thanks very much, Bender.

I obviously know nothing about computers, and Toph and Console will be able to say the correct thing, but this is what I did and it worked, why I don't know. I think in both instances they were Dell PC's ( well one a laptop and one a PC with a plug in wireless thing)

Men are fine. Its morons and wastes of space with a penis that you want to avoid. There are quite a few of them about, but plenty of the other type too.

All I seem to have found are morons, fools, and guys who just seem to waste my time. Grrr.

My mum had a right go at this woman a few weeks ago, it was very funny, I've never seen her have a go at someone like that before... she had been on this Tribal Wives programme (the one that the neighbour was on as well) and was round for a drink and a chat - anyway, this woman was one of those who thought that womankind are persecuted and that men are scum and thought her programme was going to change attitudes and be the saviour of women... mum told her to shut up, stop over-analysing and just get on with it. "Yes, you're a woman - get over it" - I laughed.

Anyway.. don't turn into that woman Ezza.

He means don't turn into a bitter old crone when you're still that young. It is helpful. As Yuds said, there are plenty of nice ones, too.

It depends where you are looking for them too. I have a friend who is always moaning that all the women he meets are slappers, shallow, chavvy types - so I pointed out to him that the reason for this is less that all women are chavvy slappers, and more that other than work the only places he ever goes to are dodgy bars! You go to bars and you will meet the type of people that hang around in bars!

Annoying me - only now seeing that tomorrow's W.B Yeats lecture was rescheduled for 2:30 this afternoon. I really should check my Uni email account more.

Also annoying me - Google Chrome won't let me get on to certain topics on here because it could contain spyware.

It appears that most of these threads have had 'lwb3908y' as the last poster. Anyone know what's going on?
