Could they not find him a venue that's free of straw and horse shit?

The Stables. It's a very good venue actually, and they have some great acts (and admittedly some shit acts).

My mate Charlotte really wanted to go and see him and her son quite fancies coming too.

Hammersmith was my last resort for reasonably local places... tried Bedford Corn Exchange (sold out) and High Wycombe Swan (single tickets only)... all the others had sold out long ago.

Alex Bogdanovic is actually playing quite well... at this rate he may win a Davis Cup match!

Bloody hell, I need a lie down.

Ha, spoke too soon.

There's no way as a nation we deserve to be in the top 16 in the world anyway.

I watched that - it is either going to become an unmissable part of Saturday nights in a cult-classic kind of way, or is going to quickly become so tedious and dull as to induce a mass slitting of wrists across the nation. Can't decide which yet.

I watched the first episode of Gavin and Stacey last night, I had never watched it before, but I loved it, it was really well done.

Spending £60 on 5 DVD's (1 DVD set is a 3 film collection - so technically 7 DVD's) and 2 CD's (1 of them is a 3 disc set) because of some awesome deals is making me smile today - I haven't treated myself on anything for a while what with all the saving.

With all that in mind though; HMV is evil. Bastard shop making me spend.

He was shocking. His attitude is awful, he can be such a good player Bogdanovich if only he could be bothered! Murray's choking pose made me laugh though after Friday's rubbers

No. He's shit. He's a talented player nationally, but internationally, he just doesn't cut it. If we our mens players were any good, he would struggle to get in the top 20; someone that standard should never be a number two. He has the worst record of any Briton who has played Davis Cup (and bear in mind we've been in the Davis Cup since it started... only Britain and America have been) and the worst record of anyone at Wimbledon ever - played in seven Wimbledon's and never won a match.

We need two good players to be in the World Group and we just haven't got them.

I think Jamie Murray is a good player however, he seems solely interested in Doubles which I don't blame him as he is a fantastic doubles player and has a good record (Saturday aside). But with regards to Bogdanovich, some his shots were brilliant but he just doesn't have the interest at all.

Bogdanovic - inconsistent and lacks the physical and mental ability to beat anyone of standard. I saw him play some good shots as well, but he needs to keep playing good shots all the way through the match.

Jamie Murray - quite a good doubles player; shit singles player, that's why he concentrates on doubles. He's about England number 7 or 8 I think in singles.
#360165
Exactly, he's won a number of Doubles titles (4 i think) but not very good at singles at all.

It is just a matter of whether Bogdanovich wants to be a good player or not. He plays like he's been forced into it!

I don't believe he has the talent.

There was a marginal chance he could have beaten Alexander Peya, but only marginal. Peya at his best should hammer Bogdanovic at his best. I would say the reason he perhaps looks like he doesn't want to play is a consequence of his poor history against international opposition.
