Actually, I had presumed that you had forgotten.

Highlight the text you want to copy, right click on it and click on 'Copy' when the pop-up context menu appears. Go to where you want to paste the text, right click in the message box and click on 'Paste' on the pop-up context menu.

You need to put the 'quote' tags around it.
