So do you go out of your way to not be friendly then? In my opinion, being nice to someone is quite welcoming, i'd rather be classed as pleasant than abrupt and unapproachable.

No, but you've only been registered a couple of months. Compared to most of the regulars, you are still new.

You don't have to prove yourself and I never said there was anything wrong with being new... we were all new at one point.

No, but I don't go out of my way to be nice if I find someone irritating. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Actually everyone has been very decent! I think most of the newbies who get a shoeing are generally coming here to vent!

How can't believe how horrible the people on this site are to new members - it isn't big nor is it clever

We tend only to be horrible if the 'newbies' present just cause to be horrible. Otherwise, we're fine.

Excuse me, people around here aren't always horrible thank you very much... and even if they are, it's not "everyone". I'm semi-new still and i've never had anyone be horrible towards me <cue insults>...
The only time that people around here could be classed as being horrible are when we're correcting people who can't spell or string a sentence together... THAT is when we're "horrible".
