Thats a bit of an extreme... He killed thousands upon thousands of Jews and your wondering why he isn't remembered more for his painting and decorating skills?

Well OK.. my last statement (about being remembered for the wrong reasons) was a bit of a sweeping generalisation, but I tend to think more people are remembered for being infamous than they are for being famous. Especially nowadays, when the word 'legend' is bandied about for anyone who's had a bit of success.

Someone famous dying is a great way for them to boost their profile, whether infamous or not you will still be remembered for going out in style, better than going on Big Brother and prancing around in a leotard.

Unless you're Richard Bacon of course. I watched this interview with him recently, and he was saying how even if he invents the teleport it will only ever be a footnote on his obituary and that, instead, 'Blue Peter Druggie' will take centre place on his gravestone. Something along those lines, he said...........................
