7 days from now i'll board a plane set for a small island in the atlantic.
8 days from now i'll arrive on said island.

while i'm on this island, i'll need to charge my camera, mp3 player, game thingy, and phone. can i just get a simple plug adapter or do i need something like this?

i don't want to blow up my toys.

I would have thought that simple plug in adaptor would be fine for what you are using it for. The one on the website is more likely for things that use a lot more power than a camera charger etc. That said I'm no electrician, so don't take my word for it

i guess i should go check my chargers at home to see if they can handle 220V.

This might be of more use.. and a bit cheaper;

American/Australasian to UK Mains Adaptor
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Mod ... &doy=20m12
although... "Note: This does not alter voltage.
Make sure your equipment can operate on the mains supply you are connecting to."
