i had enough as a kid of being told how some guy died on a cross for all our sins etc.... hell it was my school's tough stance on banging christianity home that backfired massively and turned me atheist

Surely if you were dead, you couldn't appreciate the laptop or games console or whatever?

I don't think there is anything worth dying for really. Particularly not Christmas presents.
