Anyone looking forward to this as much as I have, be warned...this movie IMO is a real let-down compared to the hype it has been recieving. When it's funny, it's bloody hilarious but anyone expecting 90 mins of Borat interviews like the ones on tv is gunna be dissapointed.
The interviews used are really short and 90% of them have been seen in the trailers - same old story when it comes to Hollywood these days. The rest of the movie focuses mainly on Borat and his producer travelling around america looking for Pamela Anderson, which in the most isn't too funny, but gets a real pay off at the end.
Don't get me wrong, compared to most comedy films over the past few years it's great, but I think this film suffers at the hands of its own hype and Cohen using most funny lines not seen in the trailers in every single interview on every single show over the past few weeks. I would recommend the film, but don't expect to be blown away.
Anyone else seen it yet?
